Its the year 2030 and we've finally found the skip from the start of the first bombing mission to the start of disk 3. Of course this means we get to keep Biggs, Wedge, Jessie, the OG cait sith and Aerith, as well as having Sephiroth in the party and unlocking Luigi in your copy of Mario 64.
You will have to make an entire new route because you're skipping so much, including crucial stuff like Big Guard and leveling. I wonder how are they going to implement this for RTA
Time to set the "Days since a new FFVII skip or exploit discovered" counter back to zero. I'm so proud of the FF7-digging/exploring/breaking community.

So, basically, this slipstream whole Rebirth part of the Remake saga. Even has Aerith confusing shenanigans about her being alive or not. Please name it Rebirth skip.
I saw this the other day. Somehow it popped up on my feed. Figured you would cover it at some point. Didn’t doubt the credibility of the people who found the skip, but still have that trust relationship built up with you enough since you have been diligent in demonstrating these crazy finds as often as you’re able to. The video I saw the other day was still in PoC phase, but it sounds like it’s now in the real world testing phase which is cool
nah from what i can see, you still get the water ring but it will make it rough, not to mention lower HP, i can see Carry Armour being a real wall, Lapis Laser is damn near a wipe as it is, with lower HP totals, i see it being luck based if you survive.
From a casual stand point, this has been doable for 20 years on ps1. You can unload the map by popping the disc tray and despite being disc 2 content icicle inn updates game moment
I haven't watched much of the speedrun videos but what happens if aerith is in the party in some of the later parts of the game, in particular all of the disc 3 stuff
Not having to deal with Demon's Gate and its nightmare RNG will be HUGE. EDIT: less levels = less HP, could make Carry Armour even more of an issue, sure double Lapis Laser = wipe, but damn, i think the HP count would cutting it VERY close for just ONE Lapis Laser.
I'm expecting a few months: you can jump off the train clip through it again and you're at Safer Sephiroth with just lvl 3 cloud and no materia.... but now we are boned and need to find a strat to beat him without Materia 😄
Will you do a breakdown video in the future explaining what's going on with the triangles? Watched kuma's video but sounded like alien speak to me... 😆
The only real problem with this skip is how underleveled and undergeared you are for it. I guess you could do some grinding outside the City of the Ancients, using the bed in the City to heal, but you are still woefully undergeared and have no Materia. But I guess the Wrong Warp people are use to that since they skip to the final dungeon.
Would it be possible to utilize the Double Chocobo Glitch if you were to catch a wild chocobo after setting up the original chocobo to put Cloud riding a chocobo on the water and avoid all encounters that way?

She will softlock some scenes but keeping her out of the main party during these scenes negates that.

Why would the discovery of a new skip affect the no skips categories?
"no warp" is what I said, in those categories you can use any skip you want, just not the wrong warps that take you directly to the end of the game.
