My two grandmothers were such different people. Nana (mom's mom) was a professional guide for fishing trips, drank hard, chain smoked, had permanently tanned, weathered skin, and dished crap out to anyone who gave her lip. She was the "you can have 5 seconds to pity yourself and then we're going to talk about a solution" type. My paternal grandmother was soft-spoken, gentle, would never dream of cussing or yelling at anyone, made us sandwiches with the crusts cut off and took us to art lessons and bowling lessons and would never dream of going out in the sun without long sleeves, a hat and gloves because she was so fair skinned. Between the two of them, they could nurture anyone's soul.
My favorite tarot is The Gentle Tarot. Because of a rocky relationship with my grandmother I hadn't picked up a copy of Song of the Grandmother's, but I am really thinking I should get this. Just because she doesn't want to lean into that loving energy doesn't mean I don't want it in my life. That being said, I had 3 wonderful Grandmother's who helped raise me and taught me every bit of my manners I have. My most beloved hobbies such as reading, knitting, and crocheting are all tied to memories of them.
The Power of Surrender cards look to be very useful - I can already tell which of those messages would come up for me repeatedly! Gosh, what a blessing to have so many grandmothers in your life 💖 Blessings 🌸 ✨
I have Power of Surrender due to your recommendation and just love it! I pull a card every morning. Today is Surrender Outdated Beliefs about Yourself..which I've drawn many times. I think I need Song of the Grandmother, too! 💗
There's a 'Pear' card in the Song of the Grandmother's deck, which reminds me of my Granny's garden. She planted a pear tree that didn't do very well, although the rest of her garden always flourished. One year it finally produced pears - just two pears. And she was so overjoyed with just those two pears. She always saw the good in everything and always was lovingly supportive, towards all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and all of her garden. As I have watched another 'walk-through' with this deck, I wasn't sure I could relate to this deck (even though I am a grandmother and love nature) for example, as I am so used to 'dandelion' representing 'wishes' instead of 'detoxification' -- but through you sharing your thoughts and your connection with this deck, it helped me realize the depth and wisdom of this deck's 'grandmotherly' messages. - Both my grandmothers had beautiful flower gardens.
Hi, Miss watching your videos. I watch TH-cam on my TV . It's not the same cause I get carried away watching different things that come up. Anyways. Every time I watch this video or others and I see the SURRENDER DECK which I also have. I bought it a while back. It's been away for a while. Which I need to take out. Yeah I like the words too. Would not get rid of it. I also have and love Song of the grandmothers. Great choice. I too was tempted by Suoerlunaris but some cards just pushed me away. Thanks for your review. Love your suggestions.
The Superlunaris 2 of cups was the card I liked the least & wished it could be replaced. I’m exploring that & I would love to hear why you like it so much. How does it connect for you?
OH my! To me this card is about being SEEN. Normally there are two people gazing deeply into one another's eyes. But here we see that she loves her own reflection. The kind of connection that occurs with the 2 of cups is the one that we all long for; to be recognized and loved for who we are. Since the people we meet are mirrors (imo), the 2 of Cups is that meeting that is kismit, meant to be, and felt deeply. I just love this rendition and I wish I had been clever enough to create it myself!
Mmmm... Superlunaris and the (Power of) Surrender cards Oracle deck? Can't remember the full name. For the third one - - Star Tarot? EDIT: Song of the Grandmothers has become my favorite Oracle deck. It is so special. So balanced and supportive. My grandmother, Mary Mahoney, was such a remarkable woman. She knew everyone's secrets but never told them. She was the epitome of discretion. She never kept a Christmas card list because she had everyone's name and address memorized. Even when they changed address. She also remembered addresses of patients' families when working as a secretary at the RI Institute of Mental Health in her 60s. She played the piano by ear. She loved to read true crime and mysteries. Smart, kind, practical. My dad loved her so much. We all did. We miss you, Nana. 🕯️
One for a very short time, the other died when I was 8 and she was a step grandmother. I think my great great grandfather married a younger woman, but she died at 101. Both my daughters met their great, great grandfather. We don't have kids as young as we used to!

Song of the Grandmothers may bring you some healing in this area and the support maybe you have wanted?

So glad to see Superlunaris. I don’t know why we don’t see it being used more. I absolutely love it. I get incredible readings with it.

It's important to just get the decks that are a HUGE YES! Otherwise we end up with decks we don't read with
Thank you for the look into these! It's always interesting to see new decks and perspectives. xo, A
You are so welcome!

Thank you for sharing about your grandmother. She sounded so special and no doubt made a wonderful deposit here in this world!
I’m packing for vacation and you convinced me to throw in Power of Surrender. Just one more deck…😸
Have fun! May your trip truly refresh you!

Energy oracle & power of surrender
Great decks!

Thanks for being here!
Two great, great grandmothers?? That seems unlikely
One for a very short time, the other died when I was 8 and she was a step grandmother. I think my great great grandfather married a younger woman, but she died at 101.
Both my daughters met their great, great grandfather.
We don't have kids as young as we used to!
