QUESTION🙋♂: My VU Meter has different readings on the right and left for certain sounds. The left being a lower reading from the right. Why is that and which side should I prioritize.
@Tazer_BLACC This may be because you have information on the left and the right. So panning may have a lot to do with how your VU meter is reading your information. With out actually looking at your system this what I'm guessing but if you want me to look at your system then head over to Fiverr and place an order for 1 on 1 consultation
Are u using this VU Meter to gain stage the whole project thru the master with beat and vocals playing or can we use the VU Meter to solo each vocal take to gain stage before we start mastering?? Somebody help me out please
@TraviesoBoymusic408 I use the vu meter to balance the whole project but I adjust the music from the bottom up which means I start from the kick drum and bass and then adjust the next important audio after that. If you want me to do 1 on 1 consultation head over to my fiverr page and I can answer questions in real time one zoom
@sergioandresvahos281 this is where you start to mix. I suggest learning parallel compression that's the technique I use to start to add volume back into my mix. If you want me to guide you through the whole process then head over to fiverr and get my 1 on 1 consultation package and I'll walk you through the rest of my process

O did gain staging, now my mix sounds too quiet... What i need to do next?
Add plug ins to get your gain & punch back
Add a limiter on the master track, and increase the gain
