*This Foundation held up beautifully all day long! It didn’t break up around my nose and chin as my facial oil came in during the day. It looked very fresh at the end of the day after 12 hours of wear!
Beautiful foundation! Speaking of family photos, my family’s photos were lost in the Lahaina fire. Most of my family lives on Maui including two of my sisters. My older sister had to leave her home ( it’s gone) and took forever to drive to my other sister’s home. Went all day that Wednesday not knowing if they were safe until midnight when she got a call through to me. Phone call kept breaking up and I won’t go into the nightmare of what she saw. Pretty grisly! So grateful that all my family, 20 persons are alive and safe. My nephew was in the Kula fire, one of my nieces in the Kihei fire safe and they are all safe!! Thanks be to God!

Hi Dawn! You have every right to cry your eyes out when you say goodbye to your son at college! Dropping my daughter off was the beginning of my now famous emotional farewells. The kids never have to wonder how much I love them!
Your skin looks so beautiful with this serum foundation! Maybe it’s similar to the L’Oréal true match nude, dropper and all. I inserted an old Estée Lauder pump in mine and it’s a perfect light foundation for a dog walk or workout and maybe more!

I too like to look back at old photos, I show my husband and tell him boy we were a good looking couple back then, we get a good laugh. Same here, we’ll get together at my niece’s house and no one is taking pictures, I will if I remember especially with my sister having dementia, I do it for her too. I use to have the best memory more than my husband and we would be amazed at how I remembered but as I’ve gotten older it’s not the same as it use to be, I’ll be 70 at the end of the year. Now I find myself writing lots of notes❤❤

i don’t like looking at old pictures like your husband too. it makes me so sad, happy that it happened but sad that it’s no longer & i get so sad i can put myself in such a dark place that i’d rather not look.
our kids will forever be our babies won’t they..even when they live on their own. i miss my son every single day..& wish he lived at home but it’s great he’s making his own way contributing in the world too.

Hi, I just bought this, too. I got shade 112 and went back to get the next shade down. Like them both. I tried mixing the Maybelline serum with the L’oreal. They work great together and might be great for the colder months. I use my fingers and maybe get more coverage than you did with a sponge. Good luck to your family as you move your son to college. ❤

@@DawnsLifeover40 Hi, thanks for your note! I resisted these serum foundations as I was convinced I would not like them at all. I usually prefer at least a medium coverage, but like you, I am enjoying these so much. I like both the Maybelline and L’oreal. I am finding that some glowy and maybe a bit tacky sunscreens work quite well under the Maybelline. The glow comes through, and the long wear properties of the Maybelline especially actually help set and solidify the sunscreens that don’t quite set down. And, setting all with powder seems to give a traditional foundation experience. xoxo

I don’t know why they are not showing the big fires in Kelowna, BC, Canada too, Elle is for Living just posted that on Instagram, she has family over there in that area that had to evacuate. It’s heartbreaking to see the fires on Instagram and the wildlife😢😢
It’s terrible!!! I think they shift their focus on to the “latest” catastrophe. There was a focus on the Canada fires until this happened. With Fall coming I’m adding the West coast to my prayers. California seems to burn every fall. *sigh 😔
