Hello, my sweet friends! I wanted to update you on how the Maybelline Skin Tint performed! So, the shade was too deep, however, it lasted beautifully for over 12 hours. I do recommend you use a pore filling primer so it's much smoother on our mature skin! It wasn't shimmery or glimmery on my complexion and the best way to apply it is with a dampened beauty sponge. It didn't fade or wear off, it did great in the heat yesterday during the cookout! Matt had a wonderful birthday, lots to eat and drink! Thank you so much for spending your time with me! Now I have shade 120 which is a Tad too dark, so my husband is so sweet, he picked me up 110 today when he was at Walmart. But it is so white lol Do you think I should try maybe mixing them together? There’s shades in between….ugh it’s hard to find the perfect color is the only thing!

I always liked that L’Oréal foundation and wondered why I didn’t get another bottle.. oh ya… the dropper!!! 😠 drove nuts. I had product everywhere!! The lip glosses were really cute. Great look!

There's a lot of products to get a girl sidetracked, but I love the fact that you're conscious of how these products work with older skin. Also, I appreciate not being tested on animals, which is a determining number 1 factor in me purchasing the product or not. Its wanting to make a good conscious choice in the make up industry

I can't wait for your roundup of tinted moisturizers -- those bb/cc cream type of face base makeup are my preferred for sure, especially if they contain spf! Have you tried Tula Skincare's radiant skin brightening serum skin tint sunscreen spf 30? I think I got the wrong shade (07) but I just keep using it over my mineral sunscreen which can give my skin a white cast, lol, and they "neturalize" each other.

Another Maybelline foundation? Will need to check it out! I like their foundations for the most part. However, every time I find one I absolutely love, Maybelline decides to change the formula or discontinue it altogether. 😕 About a month ago or so, I found a Pat McGrath powder blush at TJ Maxx for I think $12. It's so pretty. I must be in the minority on elf's Ride or Die lip gloss. I bought one and hated it. It had zero pigment, was messy to use and felt sticky. 😒 Happy Birthday to Matt! 🥳

Hello @Stephanie Morrissey 🥰 how are you, my dear friend?! I found it doesn't cover my dark spots, however, over time it's supposed to help the appearance over time. I am actually enjoying this concealer since it's Summertime! It's a thinner consistency that blends beautifully! ❤️🥰❤️
My problem with foundations is that it needs to be sweatproof and not oxidize, or else by the time I get home, I'll have tiny patches of orange-y foundation here and there on my face! I have oily but slowly changing to drier skin as I age. I'll have to check this out.
Hello @Stephie K. ❤️ do you apply primer before foundation? I used to think primer was not necessary, but it really makes a difference, especially with the longevity! Sometimes I even use different types of primer in different areas of my complexion based on problem areas! Now that it's summer, primers really help! And a great setting spray to keep everything in place is the Milani Make it Last Setting Spray! It's wonderful and affordable, too! I hope this helps you out, my friend! When I was looking online, the shades looked so light! And now that I have a bit of a tan, it has thrown me off picking out shades 😁😁😁 I will definitely exchange the 310 for a lighter one! And yes, I should have gone to Walmart 😀😀😀
I’m not surprised at all that drugstore makeup is getting more expensive. With everything increasing over time (including complex production and product development costs) and with the demand for better ingredients it stands to reason that the prices would go up. Luckily there are still very inexpensive and fine products for those who don’t want to pay $18.
I know right @Ginny Burley ❤️ prices are increasing for everything and I just found out a local cosmetics manufacturer here in Chattanooga is closing their factory next year. They'll still have their factory in New York, but many people will be out of a job. As far as drugstore makeup goes, I found this particular one (about a week after reviewing this) in Walmart for $13.99, so the price range varies! I love this skin tint, but the problem I have with Maybelline is they NEED to expand the rage. I think my skintone is very close to yours and 120 was still to dark, and 118 was too yellow. I was able to make 120 work with a beauy blender but I wish I could have my perfect match, something gray neutral but not so peachy pigmented.
I totally agree with you @mamabear8373 👍 I wish Maybelline would expand their shade range! Another Maybelline foundation? Will need to check it out! I like their foundations for the most part. However, every time I find one I absolutely love, Maybelline decides to change the formula or discontinue it altogether. 😕 About a month ago or so, I found a Pat McGrath powder blush at TJ Maxx for I think $12. It's so pretty. I must be in the minority on elf's Ride or Die lip gloss. I bought one and hated it. It had zero pigment, was messy to use and felt sticky. 😒 Happy Birthday to Matt! 🥳

Hi Cat….the Maybelline skin tint looked gorgeous on you. I’m going to look for it at my local drug store. I’ll make sure to use a pore filling primer too. I’m glad it didn’t end up shimmery or make you look like a glitter bomb. I wondered about that when you mentioned you could see glitter inside the bottle. Wish it came with a pump bottle tho.

Hello @Stephanie Morrissey 🥰 how are you, my dear friend?! I found it doesn't cover my dark spots, however, over time it's supposed to help the appearance over time. I am actually enjoying this concealer since it's Summertime! It's a thinner consistency that blends beautifully! ❤️🥰❤️
My problem with foundations is that it needs to be sweatproof and not oxidize, or else by the time I get home, I'll have tiny patches of orange-y foundation here and there on my face! I have oily but slowly changing to drier skin as I age.
I'll have to check this out.
Hello @Stephie K. ❤️ do you apply primer before foundation? I used to think primer was not necessary, but it really makes a difference, especially with the longevity! Sometimes I even use different types of primer in different areas of my complexion based on problem areas! Now that it's summer, primers really help! And a great setting spray to keep everything in place is the Milani Make it Last Setting Spray! It's wonderful and affordable, too! I hope this helps you out, my friend! I’m not surprised at all that drugstore makeup is getting more expensive. With everything increasing over time (including complex production and product development costs) and with the demand for better ingredients it stands to reason that the prices would go up. Luckily there are still very inexpensive and fine products for those who don’t want to pay $18.
I know right @Ginny Burley ❤️ prices are increasing for everything and I just found out a local cosmetics manufacturer here in Chattanooga is closing their factory next year. They'll still have their factory in New York, but many people will be out of a job. As far as drugstore makeup goes, I found this particular one (about a week after reviewing this) in Walmart for $13.99, so the price range varies! I love this skin tint, but the problem I have with Maybelline is they NEED to expand the rage. I think my skintone is very close to yours and 120 was still to dark, and 118 was too yellow. I was able to make 120 work with a beauy blender but I wish I could have my perfect match, something gray neutral but not so peachy pigmented.
I totally agree with you @mamabear8373 👍 I wish Maybelline would expand their shade range!
