*Hello lovelies! I hope you enjoy this little journey along the Kent coast with Dan and I - it was wonderful to get away from it all for the day :) As usual I have linked everything useful (that I can think of!) in the description box under the video. Thanks for watching!* *Hugs,* *Ali xx*
Inspite of the fear of being washed away to a watery death any second !!!!!😂😂😂😂😂... what an absolutely fabulous vlog and congrats on such an amazing accomplishment. There's nothing like the English seaside. Could almost smell the chips at the end. Thanks for such a great half hour... you two are just delightful! 💛💛
I enjoyed every second of your walk, the map showing your progress was very helpful. The tide sure is something to watch out for. It’s highly unlikely that I’ll ever be able to visit there so I’m so grateful that you brought me along. Thank you!!!
It says: "Oh my, it was nice!" on the bench. And oh yes, how very nice this was, - you must have had a great time! Those 8 miles alone would be worth a visit to England and Kent! So lovely! You are very lucky to be so close to the coast! Thank you for bringing us along!
Hi Ali, loved coming on your walk around the coast with you both. I live in Ramsgate so lots of places are familiar to me. The steps that you walked down from the North Foreland estate to Stone Bay are locally called The 39 Steps because John Buchan was staying in that part of Broadstairs when he wrote the book of that name. Thanks for taking us along x
Super sensory stimulation! the voices of the sea, wind, colors of the flowers and the lacey foam on the waves, smells of the seaweed and barnacles, chips.... love the art you showed. This video is definitely a keeper for those hot humid, sad days.
Congratulations on completing the entire walk! I would surely have had blisters on my feet before I got to the end! Thank you so much for sharing the English coast with those of us who will probably never get to see it. I enjoy so much seeing real life in your corner of this planet. Have a good week!
Definitely going to be doing this walk! We recently got the ferry from Gravesend to Tilbury and then walked the coastal path from Tilbury fort round to Coalhouse Fort ( there's a little café) and then walked back - really enjoyable!
❤️❤️❤️loved it! I love the sea/ocean and I used to walk through all Helsinki-shores before covid but the sea isn’t the same here as there. These. walks are kind of a way to go abroad for me , so thank you again!
This was sooooo lovely! I enjoyed every minute of a lovely walk with you both! I don’t know this area at all so the little map was such a helpful addition. I would love you to do this again on another walk sometime, when you have recovered from this one! Thank you so much xxx
So glad that the UK is back to what passes for normal life . It is our turn in Sydney australia to be in lockdown so armchair travelling with you both has been just lovely . I do enjoy your videos but when you are out walking it is pure escapism for me . Thank you ❤️
Thankyou for taking us on your walk. My parents live in Botany bay. It's one of my favourite places. I now live up in Scotland and miss my walks on the coast.
Hey Ali! I have just found out that my grandfather was born in Ramsgate, in 1921. I love watching your videos and have been catching up on ones I have missed. Blessings from Australia, Rivkah.
I thoroughly enjoyed watching your walk and the descriptions and narration of all the wonderful things you saw along the way. 8 miles is a darn long way and you did it in the heat! Well done Ali and Dan xx
Oh Ali I was cracking up when you were talking about the houses falling into the sea and about being washed away into the ocean. That’s exactly what I would have been thinking. 😂 My husband always say “How’s that positivity going for you” when I start talking like that. 😂🤣 Now I know I’m not the only one. Looks like a lovely walk. Maybe one day I’ll get back to the UK. I hope Dan felt better after that little adventure.
Thank you, both of you for sharing! This was just lovely! I followed along with a google map open to the area thus enjoyed the walk and your commentary along the way! Such a beautiful walk with the sea and the many wildflowers!
Hi to you both, wow lovely video, as someone who grew up in the sixties that was well and truly a trip down memory lane. Thanks so much for sharing, have missed visits to the seaside. Take care, Chris from Kent xx
Happy birthday. What a lovely way to spend the day and thanks for taking us along. I was surprised to see all your wildflowers blooming. Spring is just arriving here in NY. There is a Margate on the New Jersey coast. My husband's family had a,beach house there and they would take the train from Philadelphia when he was a boy. Lots of place names in the eastern US are the same as those in England because of the original colonies.
Wonderful day out. I originally come from Bristol, i miss the water. We have beaches in Nederland but they are not the same as england. But nevermind we have a beach we go to alot thank goodness, in den helder.Thankyou for all the information, i just love history. Have a nice day 💐
That was beautiful to watch. You are so lucky to have it all in your doorstep. I'm from Birmingham so about as far from the sea as you can get in England xx
Really enjoyed that! And I now know I could safely do the same walk, secure in the knowledge that there are loos along the way (I am serious, this is a major consideration!). Very glad you didn't die a watery death, and nothing apparently fell into the sea either.
Thanks for taking us along with you on this lovely seaside walk. My calves are aching just thinking about all that walking in the sand! The sound of the sea is magic. xx

Lovely beachy walk with you two. ❤ Such an idyllic lifestyle those beach (and cliff) dwellers lead. What a beautiful place.
