In Patong Phuket we visited the JungCeylon Mall and the Central Patong Mall. We noticed that there where no tourists at all, even between Christmas and New Year.

I used to live there for 9 years. Unfortunately Covid 19 impact me then I moved out since March 2020. Really want to go back to work there soon.
Aw man it’s so surreal to see this, I holiday almost every year at Karon Beach where our friends are and we always go to Jungceylon. I was there in November 2019, expecting to be back last year...we all know how that ended. As soon as I can, I’m heading back.

Commenting on the last two videos the water park looks really nice and relaxing,,I seen this place get built over the years used to love walking though here on my way to the Italian coffee shop on the corner opposite Bangla road used to be great watching the world go by and see so many nationalities,,,my best friend NUM used to have a stall on the front opposite the beach,,,selling goods and had his hand in everything he even used to collect the money for the betting on the football and they tell you there is no gambling in Thailand funny that,,,had some of the best times of my life here so upsetting watching this as the town used to be crazy,, can’t wait to come back one day. ,peace and happiness as always and thanks for the videos everyday.
Last month, i visited this mall also. It is ghost town, very hard to find a meal since most of the restaurants were closed.

Central will not take much business away from Jung Ceylon. Quite simply, there are no tourists and very few local ex-pats to be customers in these malls. And Thai people will not shop there because they are too expensive. Many of the shops and restaurants are closed because if they do not open, they do not have to pay rent. As time goes on more and more will completely go out of business. The large Central Mall in Kathu is much more used than this one. Although its customer numbers are way down from normal, at least it still has an air of normality about it. Patong Beach is a ghost town, together with the other west coast resorts like Kata, Karon.

I love your channel, compared to British guy Richard Barrow. That guy always complain everything in Thailand. I don't understand why he does not leave the country if he is unhappy to leave in. I am living in Australia I pay double prices for education and public transport as well but never complained.

Are you requested for a quarantined while you are in Phuket or not? As I know, visitors from BKK to Phuket town would be obligated to a 14-day quarantine and show up negative covid test.
