Why I gave up playing the keyboards! Saw his live show a few years ago and that was it! Nice guy too and I am glad he is back with Jon Anderson and Trevor Rabin. Not only is he an amazing player, he seems to play mostly with his eyes closed.
I saw another video where he said his first piano teacher (when he was a wee lad) told him to do that so that he could imagine the scene. Boggles my mind.
Notice his perfect position of hands classically trained and concentration, re-creating all the time his own creations - handfully mastering himself in these always sublime musical evocations. Hands clean and delicate whether you might perceive them closely - of a true concertist of contemporain ages!! A most fascinating interpretation of a great masterwork. I love this! Also, this DVD is definitely among Wakeman's best. Highly recommended!
