Alexa Ilacad admits that her Pinoy Big Brother journey was a groundbreaking experience for her personal life and career. She discovered new things about herself and finally found an opportunity to bare her soul and be true to herself.
Apart from opening up about her mental struggles, she also found her gift for songwriting-with the help of her fellow housemate, KD Estrada. She shares, “When I found KD, he gave music to my songs.”

I'm having my breakdowns lately due to some pressures in life, anxiety, and emotional instability, and I don't know how to solve this, but the best thing I did was to call my trusted friend and tell her everything I'm feeling and everything I'm thinking because my thoughts are killing me since I'm already thinking of having self -harm. So I agree that we do not need to own our problems; sometimes we need to have someone willing to listen to us even without giving us the best advice but the thought that she is with you monitoring and letting you feel that you are not alone is enough. Yes I admit that alexa is my reason why I watch pbb. Kasi naramdamN ko na malakas ang personality nya. Tapos nakita ko ang soft side niya. Pero I want to thank alexa kasi syA din naging tulay ko knowing kyji and i was hook sa kyji pero nung nawala sila sa bahay tumigil ako manood ng pbb sa hapon sa yt na lang pero sa pagkawala nila mas nakilala ko ang anji salvacion.. At mas lumambot ang puso ko sa batang yan. Ngayon mas naappreciate ko ng sobra si anji because of her faith in God and dedication. Thanks to alexa and kd because I get to know anji salvacion the pure and childlike acts pero mature na when it comes to her goals in life. ... Happy ako in distance for kdlex and super happy ako kay anji. God moves in mysterious ways and three of them deserve the blessings they are receiving.
