Absolutely agree with the above comments. I am lucky enough to be in a position to purchase digitals as and when. Your digitals are incredibly good value considering the amount of work and detail that goes into them. Also in addition to videos you make that use your kits you often will make a separate "no kit" version that is probably more complicated to make requiring more preparation time by you. One thing I've learned working with people the last 50 years, is we can't please everyone and if someone is looking, they'll find fault no matter what one does. I'll bet the same people aren't upset at any other business promoting their products through commercials. Keep doing what you do - which is try to inspire a wide audience, as we all do on our channels. You deserve to promote your products because you work to create them; just as you deserve praise for providing "how to" videos about creating beautiful items on the cheap, or for free.

I am on a limited budget to at 81. I don't use very many digitals because of the cost of printing them. You are a kind and generous woman who shares your talents and gifts and freebies with us and you are so appreciated. I was a pastor for 25 years and I know that you just cannot please everyone. You live kindly and do the best you can and the rest of it has to just fall by the wayside. I figured the main reason for having a you tube channel was to promote your products-that is the way you make your living. Nobody has to purchase your digitals so you should not feel bad when people complain. Money is very tight for us right now, but because I was so aggravated by her comments and all the extra work you had to go through, I purchased your digi-kit. Thrift/charity stores often have receipt books and other office supplies like file folders etc, old magazines and books. Dollar stores have ink, glues, transfers and stamps and stickers. I don’t have old documents but i consider it a challenge to locate materials. I save instructions from things and often they have other languages too. Start with paper bags, dye with coffee or tea, dry then crumple them. Grab industrial paper towels if a local restroom has any. Create a fake name plate. Get a stencil to make butterflies using a colored pencil instead of paint. There are always thrifty ways to recreate materials. Make it a challenge. Tracie, call people out as a challenge and have them show you how they can make these from junk. Your creations are indeed awesome and you offer ideas and instructions. It’s up to us how we use that!

You are right. It is her channel and yes she can promote what she is selling. The one thing I would add though is junk journaling of old has been taken over completely now by crafters on line just making money. I remember when junk journaling was literally about junk and stuff one has around the house. There is no art involved with printing off an image and sticking it down on something. Also some crafters that show off their pets even have on their sites information about the pets favourite treats so you are funding their pets too ! A bit cheeky ! I personally cannot get all these things they sell but manage without them. Looking at the amount of kits they keep bringing out it does seem like a bit of a racket. I love all our crafters they are great but wish they would concentrate more on the crafting and a lot less on flogging their wares.
Of course you are going to promote your kits it's your Free channel!!!! I cant print kits or afford many craft supplies but you have always offered kit free tutorials, which are always amazing by the way. Oh my word!! No one can rightfully say anything against what you do for your craft! I have received so many wonderful freebies from you as well as discounts! And your kits are very generous and inexpensive especially considering I can reuse forever. It gets all over me when someone is ungrateful and it's never enough. You are a very very giving person and in no way deserve negative comments.
Use the supplies you have. When I first started out, I had a ruler, scissors, magazines, newspapers, my granddaughters sketch pad, and a butter knife for scoring. Then I gradually built up my stash, and today, twenty years later, I have everything there is. But it took a long time to get here. Never feel you can't participate because you don't have the same supplies that someone else has. Use what you have. We all started at the bottom as far as supplies go. I hit up yard sales, garage sales, estate sales, etc, where you can find a lot of stuff cheap. You don't need brand new. Again, use what you have access to. 🙂♥️

I’m pretty sure if you gave those people free digitals with tutorials for how to use them, they would still find something to complain about. Thrift/charity stores often have receipt books and other office supplies like file folders etc, old magazines and books. Dollar stores have ink, glues, transfers and stamps and stickers.
I don’t have old documents but i consider it a challenge to locate materials.
I save instructions from things and often they have other languages too.
Start with paper bags, dye with coffee or tea, dry then crumple them. Grab industrial paper towels if a local restroom has any. Create a fake name plate. Get a stencil to make butterflies using a colored pencil instead of paint.
There are always thrifty ways to recreate materials. Make it a challenge.
Tracie, call people out as a challenge and have them show you how they can make these from junk.

You are right. It is her channel and yes she can promote what she is selling. The one thing I would add though is junk journaling of old has been taken over completely now by crafters on line just making money. I remember when junk journaling was literally about junk and stuff one has around the house. There is no art involved with printing off an image and sticking it down on something. Also some crafters that show off their pets even have on their sites information about the pets favourite treats so you are funding their pets too ! A bit cheeky ! I personally cannot get all these things they sell but manage without them. Looking at the amount of kits they keep bringing out it does seem like a bit of a racket. I love all our crafters they are great but wish they would concentrate more on the crafting and a lot less on flogging their wares.
Of course you are going to promote your kits it's your Free channel!!!! I cant print kits or afford many craft supplies but you have always offered kit free tutorials, which are always amazing by the way. Wow please don't let these silly people get to you, you share amazing projects all for free sorry for the rant it just makes me so angry. Xxx

I have recently started to watch you faithfully. I am happy that you do have such an eclectic approach. I love tree reusing old things and intermixing some new printed ephemera. I don't have an unlimited supply of ink. My husband calls me out everytime i order more ink. So anyway i would like to thank you for the freebies you do supply and also for your free tutorials. Use the supplies you have. When I first started out, I had a ruler, scissors, magazines, newspapers, my granddaughters sketch pad, and a butter knife for scoring. Then I gradually built up my stash, and today, twenty years later, I have everything there is. But it took a long time to get here. Never feel you can't participate because you don't have the same supplies that someone else has. Use what you have. We all started at the bottom as far as supplies go. I hit up yard sales, garage sales, estate sales, etc, where you can find a lot of stuff cheap. You don't need brand new. Again, use what you have access to. 🙂♥️

I’m less than a minute into your video, and I had to comment. I’m pretty sure if you gave those people free digitals with tutorials for how to use them, they would still find something to complain about. You SHOULD promote your digitals, that is part of your business, plus your prices are really reasonable. You don’t owe anyone anything, and your talent and time are valuable. The gall of some people truly amazes me.

You specifically told us several times in your video about posting a non-digital kit version coming our way. Second, as crafters, all of your videos are so self explanatory we can easily figure out how to make a version on our own without the kit. Third, your digital kits are always exquisite and we are so blessed to have access to them. You are more than generous with your freebies and we all know that making and selling your kits is how you make some of your money.
