- Disclaimer: This video is just for fun showcase not a min-max gameplay, and i do have some skill issue so just take it easy while watching video. All characters have perfect stats and not a relatable build (Full enhance on sub stats they need, like atk + break eff + speed for break dps, hp + speed + break eff for break support)
Himeko E0 with S5 "The Seriousness of Breakfast" 4* LC, 4 Thief + 2 Talia, full break build (ATK Body, Speed Boots, Fire DMG Sphere, BE Rope).
Gallagher E6 with S5 "What Is Real?" 4* LC, 4 Cloud + 2 Vonwacq.
HMC E6 with S5 "Dance, dance, dance" 4* LC, 4 Watchmaker + 2 Talia.
Ruan Mei E0 with her S1 signature LC, 4 Watchmaker + 2 Vonwacq.
Guinaifen E6 with S5 "Solitary Healing" (Herta Shop LC), 4 Thief + 2 Talia, full break build.
The stage is MoC 12 2.2.2 Second Half.
Turbulence Buff: At the start of every wave of Cycle, summon 1 Trotter onto the field. The Trotter will be immediately defeated when it is Weakness Broken. After the Trotter is defeated, Advance the attacker's Action Forward by 100%, then apply Memory Imprint to all allies. Every stack of Memory Imprint increases the target's ATK by 15% and Break Effect by 30%, up to a max of 5 stack(s).

I like how break teams have broken damage and are somewhat easy to build, but they're COMPLETELY useless if you can't break the shields. It's pretty balanced all things considered

Himeko is built different for this encounter. Three elites is normally a challenge but it just means chain followups for her.

Funny thing, Thief set Himeko used to be really great and the more profitable option before the FUA set came out. Nice to see it come back to being more useful again.

It Explains both the past of peanacony how the family destroyed each other and the grim future if sunday and the dream master got their way. leading to the first fight with septmis and the epic cutscene of dan hang and jing yuan showing up to save you
If himeko can overstack her fua like aventurine and jade then she would be much easier to use

Nope you realise that ruan mei is there in every break team if you slap her with a crit based dps they will also stomp hard superbreak is really mid without ruan mei for now as it completely scales from toughness reducing damage and teammates break effect have a minimal effect on its damage@@Kozn_1594

I just started building this team, but with Asta, it's so fun to play
fire and physical has the best break effect in game and this comp is utilizing it's potential
the biggest winner this patch other than MC is Gallagher imo, all the new enemies have fire weakness, Break meta is relevant again and he's the de facto sustain in these teams with how fast he shreds through toughness bar. I use him more than Luocha now

Follow up attacks (enemies with decreasing stacks after every action)
DoT (dinos/Enemies with fast forward effects)
Break Effect (Multiple toughness)

I think Firefly would do more damage, but only when the enemies are weakness broken. Himeko's crit helps

I think full BE still work if we can break the enemies weakness.
I think hybrid build good crit /ratio and roundly 100BE should already good enough for 0 cycle run. She still should be using %atk rope and stuff .

Fua is quite good with super break mechanic. Sadly xueyi fua is based on toughness depletion, talk about anti synergy with break team support. I really like her but her kit specifically her fua have problem with its own quantum break delay even before hmc super break even a thing
Xuiye needs someone that Refills the Weakness break bar after u break it, So u can spam follow ups, Himeko Could prob like someone like that too lmao, Anyone that wanna break but still need the original break to trigger something in there kit

i'll have to equip my hmc and give some of these comps a try. maybe she can function similiarly with a hybrid break/crit setup as well. i dont wanna be forced to throw all my amazing fua set items to the side. :c
Yeah himeko is one of those characters thst can go hybrid she doesn't need a massive amount of spd to do her job

Since ive only been playing for one month, i dont have ruan mei. Will we get a rm rerun soon? Is there any break team comp without ruan mei that is as good?
You still can play break team without Ruan Mei but it feels kinda off and won't be effective as the Ruan Mei comp, just use any char that can reduce toughness bar fast enough to keep the enemies in broken state as long as possible.
This is a slightly dumb question, but is there no way of replaying this boss outside of the moc?
Currently it's one of the new divergent universe planar bosses.

Since dmg increase ( fire dmg and so on ) don't effect super break dmg, did you just use it for the fire break and personal dmg? Also how did you get 300 break even with those artifact it does feel almost impossible
Himeko base BE is just 242 (300 that includes other allies buff too), she alr gt 68% from Thief + Talia set (16+16+16+20) and 64% just from break rope alone, so she just need 110 BE from substats, it means you need at least 22 BE for each relic sub stats to reach it (and in perfect scenario when you get 3-4 rolls on BE i think it's achievable, just need some luck)

U mean "Iron Cavalry Against the Scourge" set? Yeah it's definitely better than thief set. I mean ignoring 18% DEF when dealing break DMG can give a huge dmg output, so the new set is a must get for break dps char.

@@fleup3870 ERR is good when you want to reach some specific thresholds or in long battme, the moment HMC's E2 depletes, you start feeling some downtime in HMC ult

I have a doubt, does the atack influence the super break effect? Or is just break effect and damage bonus, like Ruan mei's, influence?
Super Break DMG does not scale from ATK afaik.
super break only matter about the amount of units of break you are doing. For instance, a basic attack does 30 toughness or 1 unit of toughness dmg. In simpler terms the more the funny white bar would go down the more super break you would do, which is why ruan mei is great with it due to weakness break efficiency. Super break only takes into account: Break effect, Character level, and the amount of damage to the funny white bar for toughness you are doing.
Break effect doesn't scale with anything neither crit dmg nor atk same with Elemental mastery from genshin

The thing is, this only works if the team can break weaknesses. Not every boss fight will be fire weak.

each of those mechanical bosses count as an elite enemy so it gives 3 stacks to Himeko when it's broken, and when Himeko breaks an enemy with her FUA, it immediately refills her stack so another FUA launchs

Not full BE on sub stats, i roll on some atk% + speed + HP too. Basically this build only has "useful" stats (BE, ATK, Speed and some HP) without unimportant stats such as def, eff hit rate, eff res, crit, crit dmg. In theory, you still can get this build with abit of farming luck. And Himeko base BE is 242% (In video she has BE bonus from allies buff at the beginning).

I can make some showcase without Ruan Mei too, but it's abit hard to play break team without her tho.

My bugbear is with Toughness and how Hoyo made this system that for the longest time felt like a restriction, an annoyance that you have to account for instead of a win condition to build to. Just wish that non-matching attacks would still reduce Toughness, even if at a vastly reduced rate. But the answer for now seems to be: Get Ruan Mei, or just don't bother with Break teams.
Like DOT teams could still do damage before Kafka. DOTs still worked without her, but she accelerates your win condition. For Break teams? Arrange your team specifically for that one fight, or bash that bar for ONE hit of damage! Cool!
HMC is great in that they allow Break teams to do more from one break, but you'll still have to get a break in the first place. No Ruan Mei, Silver Wolf, and the surprise encounter's weakness doesn't match your team? Guess all that Breaks Effect is dead in the water. And it's not like getting those stats is cheap.
Yeah, break meta feels a bit limited atm, just hope that Hoyo will release more support char for this playstyle in future.
On one hand, yeah, that's a lot of damage. On the other, basically all of it was coming from super break.
Conclusion: you're better off using Xueyi, Herta, or maybe even Serval
Don't forget that Fire has better damage scaling for Break and Super Break. Maybe Xueyi could be a better option, but I don't think Herta and Serval can do more damage than Super Break Himeko 😅
@@Yawar25 Superbreak has an universal scaling who ignore the element.
Himeko has the highest potential, consecutive FuA procs and that's what enables Super Break. You want to get in as many hits as possible. Xueyi's takes too long to proc and hits random targets, which could work against you. Herta could work depending on the amount of weaker mobs spawning to proc her FuA. Relying on half-healthing bosses just to get ONE FuA in isn't going to cut it.
Still, none of them could proc their FuA 3 times in a row like Himeko did. Their conditions are too strict.
That is rich coming from you. Not even Firefly can perform this good . Leave alone the three you are mentioning

Let be real, this team only this good when you have HMC, if you don't? Goodluck with that, i know Mei is good for break team, but she not a game change when compared to HMC

Are you sure you haven't gotten it flipped around? Try playing this team without Ruan Mei and see how slow it is.
