I live in Canada and I definitely agree, driving in the snow is very dangerous especially when the salt trucks didn’t pour salt on the roads so it gets slippery and if you don’t have winter tires, you’re screwed. Also, for some reason, people on the roads tend to forget basing driving when it snows! So it even makes it harder.
Wow i’m from Norway, and I never knew that people don’t drive in snow! Her people grip the chance to drive fast and slead upon the lakes when they’re frozen and snowy 😅

We did the same , traveled to my parents after 30 plus hours of no power and water.. Thankfully , alhamdulillah, it all came back on, so we went back home too. I pray this doesn't happen to anyone ever again and that we can all , all over the world, stay safe .

Glad you’re all ok. We’re living in a rental and can’t move to the house we purchased until we close in April. Today the roof started leaking and it leaking a gallon an hour so I went to my moms with my 8 month old baby and my husband is staying and meeting the landlord and keeping the place from flooding. My sister is also in Texas and she got power back but still has to boil water.
6 months!?! It feels like she was born just yesterday! Much love! 💗💗💗

Not too far from Texas I'm in Tennessee and the snow has been crazy so many peoples cars have been stuck on the roads!. The water is contaminated and finding water bottles at any store is scarce!! We also boiled snow!! Subhanallah! How all this happened within a few days praying everyone impacted is safe and well!

I’m so glad all of you are ok. I’m in college Station and it’s been a roller coaster of week. We didn’t leave our home for 5 days we had snow/ice up until today. We luckily didn’t loose water but power was off and on. Never have I felt so unprepared for something. We definitely learned a hard lesson of being more prepared for emergency situations. I’m so grateful everything turned out ok. Stay safe and blessings to your family. 💗

I got power back 5pm today after not having it since Monday 4am. Thank god my grandparents lived close enough so we can go to their house because they had electricity. We had to stay at their house because Tuesday night the house temperature was 33 degrees and we were freezing. Very grateful that we had someplace to go to. My neighbors didn’t have any place to go to so they stayed in the freezing house for days and using the car as heat risking carbon monoxide poisoning. Alhamdulillah for everything we have.

Glad to see things are getting better in Texas. Man even in cold places like Wisconsin sometimes they don't even salt the roads everywhere but they still expect you go to work or school! haha I remember in college id be slippin and sliding walking on campus, bundled up like a snowman. Fell so many times! haha I don't think people ever get used to the snow. I hate it! Lol
