You Are the Breath of My Life | Grand Island Mansion Wedding

I don’t think I’ve squeed so much on a wedding day.
It’s been two years in the making. Alissa and Luke were one of my last clients to book before I made the jump to full time in this business and in a small way it was their faith in what we do that made that jump so much easier. We eagerly talked shop as the time passed til wedding day (and they even got into weddings more on the coordination side!)
This day not only met but FAR exceeded my expectations. I must have grabbed my husband’s arm at least 10 times during the wedding and blurted “this is the perfect wedding” before rushing off to the next task. The guests? Dressed to kill and making my little nerd heart happy. The venue? The sun came out just for these two, right in time for ceremony.
If luck was a person, she was surely smiling on these two because I can’t think of a thing that went wrong with such an absolutely stunning day. Oh and let’s not even talk about how these two had the most packed dance floor that they had me wanting to clock off and STAY.
There aren’t enough words to describe it, but I hope this short sneak can convey something about just how enchanted this nontraditional soirée was - and yes, I think big words are necessary here.
The long drive, the rain, the crossing our fingers that everything would come together - all worth it. Can we do it again next weekend 😅?
