Just sharing: Are y’all aware that Cracker Barrel Restaurants provide free rv overnight parking? Also one can usually stay without issue at Lowes, Home Depot, large shopping areas, industrial warehouse areas, even curbside in many towns. Some have even said that if you speak to a Walmart manager some will give permission for overnight parking, just make sure to get their name. They often post signs to avoid large crowds of overnighters and van dwellers. Our unit’s won’t get towed as long as we’re inside them. Other travelers have shared many small towns will permit overnight stays at their city parks with some even providing electric and water hkups for a small reasonable fee or free. 🚌

I just had my 10 the spine surgery and found you guys on TH-cam. I love you guys you are so great together and have such a good time. I loved the RVing in Japan too. I'm single so couldn't RV myself but I'm able to experience a lot of the places I'd love to go through you guys. Please keep making videos and showing us the beautiful places you get to see. Sometimes I forget that Yellowstone/Grand Teton is a once-in-a-lifetime trip for most people, since I live so close. They’re just day trips for us, so we end up going multiple times a year. One of my favorite times though was when we went on the day Yellowstone reopened in the spring, because we practically had the whole park to ourselves. It was still very cold and snowy, but there weren’t any huge tour buses or lines of cars anywhere. Walking the Grand Prismatic boardwalk while it was covered in ice and snow was pretty sketchy though, ngl lol but it was a fun day.

When I visited Yellowstone with friends during a cross country trip in 1979, absolutely fell in love with the big sky country. Yellowstone itself was weird and there’s few places to actually walk safely and Ole Faithful was a bit of a bore, frankly. But you’ll never forget Wyoming and Montana, drop dead gorgeous…absolutely stunning!
I love your channel. My hubby and I wanted to travel, but he fell and suffered a brain injury. We're hoping that his final surgery will make traveling possible again, so in the meantime, we are enjoying the places you go. Gives us ideas on where we want to go, once he's cleared.

Dumb Aussie here. My brother and I went to Jackson Hole on 4th July 1983. Rodeo and fireworks and dynamite (it’s true) it was a very wild night. Then we drove west to Yellowstone and saw ol’faithful. But what we find surprising was the 1/2 inch ‘frost’ on our tent in mid-July! It was in fact snow, and to the amusement of a few Americans they had to inform us it was actually snow. (Doesn’t snow in Australia in summer) USA was a great country to visit. So different to Australia and each state is very different too. USA actually has mountains unlike australia.

We have one I named Lumpy Rutherford bc well he's portly! He's cute though! We watch from afar bc they can be mean, Im sure they don't mean it, they are just protective. We have families of moose here! Let me know if you are ever in the area, I have room,, hook ups etc and we aren't but two hours from Canada and lots to do around here.We are on the border of Idaho. Couerd'Alene is beautiful! I live in a big red barn with my daughter, We are in the process of making it beautiful! We were there the same time. I'm confused, you mentioned that you came in the north entrance, we could only access the park from the south entrance. Did you guys park "Desert Snow" close to one of the lodges at old faithful? We saw an EKKO parked up close, awesome RV, I'm jealous... We did see mooses, but they were in the Tetons
Thanks Larry! We entered through the West entrance because we were staying at Grizzly RV Park. We also visited Lamar Valley right before the flood. And, yes, we parked Desert Snow several times next to the Old Faithful lodge area!
We saw so much Bison on our trip and enjoyed several Bison traffic jams. The only time we really enjoyed being in a traffic jam. 😂 Thanks for watching. 🙏🏾🙏🏻

I went Yellowstone 32 years ago! One of my most memoral trips. We also went to the grand tetons when were there. I truely would move there in a heart beat!

Yellowstone is one of my most favorite and oft-visited places! Did you see Great Fountain geyser? So cool, and worth waiting for-we make dinner on the boardwalk while waiting. Your videos bring back good memories. Even after a total of about 6 weeks in summer visits though, I’ve never seen wolves or moose there, and only a glimpse of bears. Happy trails!

I’m newerish… to your channel and I am loving your travels! Last year, my hubs n I were going to Yellowstone by piggybacking off of his work trip in Utah. Well, doncha know, the flood happened, so we ended up going to the Grand Tetons. I’m sorry we missed Yellowstone BUT we saw BEAUTIFUL, beautiful country! The wildlife was spectacular and ever so plentiful. I’m not the least bit disappointed as the Tetons were amazing! I will definitely go back to see YS but I’m not sure I would say the same if I had seen YS and said I’ll come back for GT. It was a happy change in plans and I hope YS gets put back together for the wildlife to continue to thrive. Thank you for your content and happy trails for you and Dave 💯 So, I commented in the middle of the video and didn’t realize you also went to The Tetons. We stayed in Jackson, also! Funny, Dave’s the 2nd person this week who’s said they thought animals were killed for their antlers. The saddles were VERY uncomfortable at the Cowboy Bar and we ate at a Mexican restaurant called, I think, Ms. Piglets. I loved the atmosphere of the town.
It is definitely interesting to watch them do their travelings in an RV ... but what is also interesting is they seem to not know that they were near the mouth of a caldera which is a mega volcano!!! I believe the lava is only 5 miles deep ... If they knew, I think their reactions and emotions would be a hell a lot more excited - that is if Im correct!?!?!?

one of the reasons it is against the law to throw anything in the geysers is because eventually the geyser will throw it back up, there have been instances in the past of all kinds of things (shirts, pants, Native American Beads, coins) thrown up in the spray, and of course, it is very hard ecological system
So I myself am looking into getting a Coachmen Cross Trail. It's on the same Ford Chassis you guys have and its 24ft in length. I'm selling my car and decided to go and work on the road I am very into mountain biking and such and was wondering how parking the Ekko is and finding places to stay and boondock.
That’s awesome! Parking the Ekko is pretty easy and we can fit into many traditional parking spots. Definitely maneuvers well. Certainly designed with boondockers in mind!
Thanks Bert, we had a loose clamp that needed to be tightened. We couldn’t reach the location under our bed with our tools so a local dealer helped us out to reach it with a special tool!

one of the reasons it is against the law to throw anything in the geysers is because eventually the geyser will throw it back up, there have been instances in the past of all kinds of things (shirts, pants, Native American Beads, coins) thrown up in the spray, and of course, it is very hard ecological system
So I myself am looking into getting a Coachmen Cross Trail. It's on the same Ford Chassis you guys have and its 24ft in length. I'm selling my car and decided to go and work on the road I am very into mountain biking and such and was wondering how parking the Ekko is and finding places to stay and boondock.
That’s awesome! Parking the Ekko is pretty easy and we can fit into many traditional parking spots. Definitely maneuvers well. Certainly designed with boondockers in mind!

Thanks Bert, we had a loose clamp that needed to be tightened. We couldn’t reach the location under our bed with our tools so a local dealer helped us out to reach it with a special tool!
