That is really awesome. I can see it running out of ChiliPeppr already! I don't think this is going to be too bad. Just use the X and Y axes to drive these. The gcode is probably easiest to simply be manually written. The easiest too is to just visualize it in the 3D viewer in ChiliPeppr as XY moves rather than try to render it as rotation and bobbin moves, but that would be super cool to modify the 3D viewer to show the real action.
Thanks for the comment Mark. A chuck is clever but turns out the geared stepper motor final bearing is a little sloppy, which gets coupled through and the bobbin wobbles. I did start v2 of my winder. Look for videos about it in the future.
Hello. Long ago I watch your video and I very much liked your machine for winding of transformers. I to myself ordered all accessories and I look forward to continuations. It would be desirable to see the ready machine in work. If it is possible a question, and sketch you will write for arduino. For earlier thanks.
the arduino is running grbl v1.1. github.com/gnea/grbl. my control code is here as python script, github.com/holla2040/valvestudio/tree/master/projects/transformerdesigner/power watch this video for demo, th-cam.com/video/2wtVtEJFwcE/w-d-xo.html

Nice design - finding a chuck for a stepper motor is clever - means you can make a jig for winding any former imaginable I guess.

Thank you! We will study ...
Why did you post an incomplete project without testing it?

+дима ушаков I'll be working on this soon. don't worry, I will finish this.
I agree.
Excuse me, will the sketch for arduino be?
