Exactly the video I was looking for! two important things for me: the gcoil program and the felt thread tensioning system. I'm going to wind some audio transformers for tube amplifiers! thanks!
Take my heartiest respect and thanks. I'm Md. Abdul Basit from Bangladesh. I made it PC version as per direction of the video. Really it nice working without error. Allah bless you.
Oh my you must wind a lot of coils! This thing is built way more complicated than I am building mine. But I am not winding a lot. I first looked at that stepper and was like... oh my is he driving a tank. Now I see why. Those spools are huge! The winding on that transformer is absolutely perfect! Epic Build!
Nice design and video. Great looking multi-layer coils. I'm in the process of building a coil winder to wind orthocyclic coils, which is more difficult than linear coils, but produces more punch for a given space. I'll have to make a video when I've got the code (directly controlled, not using gcode) spot on. Keeping near perfect tension vs speed is one of the hardest parts.
absolute work of art. well done mate. love watching transformers wound. definately for a valve application looking at the 6.3v outputs for the heaters.
yeah the machine is great but the video quality is crap. slide shows are nearly useless, and about as informative as the word "thingy". a human voice talking about the machines construction would be 10 billion percent more informative. i got parts from a printer i can use but without more information than silent bob trying to explain brain surgery its going to take more trial and error than I'd like. not everyone has a $10,000 budget to blow on mistakes..
How does it work to pull the taps off? to pull the tap off to leave it for later, and then to go back to were it was pulled from, I imagine that it is difficult to secure the wire?
Hello, Could you provide the project's details? Your winding quality is really professional. It's a pleasure to watch it. But, as I asked, could you share with us the project? Since some time, I've been looking for it. Thank you in advance, Regards.
It is a very solid build! I was enjoying the winding process. And I have a few question as well. Is it good to use 1 : 6 drive ratio for the spindle? And can you share the circuit of the parallel interface you use?
@eugenyk6936 You can use any gear ratio, the bigger the stronger and the stepper motor makes less noise... you can use any cnc parallel interface you find, you only use two axes... Today I would not make any controllers or interfaces myself, I remember how much time I lost on it... you will find everything ready and for little money
@@wremir Thanks for your reply. I'm in a process of building the machine. As of the electronic part I've already bought the breakout board, and the steppers drivers.
Beautiful, nice work ! Respect !!! I realize it's been some time since the creation, but I would like to know. Is it not more convenient to make control on the microcontroller, because Mach3 is still CNC, and winding coils requires manual intervention :). If you are interested in my realization, I have one of the latest videos on my channel. There are links to documentation, program code, etc. Everything is freely available :)
Nothing like porno music to get you pumped up for your next project. Kidding aside, great job! Edit: Watching it wind the coil is extremely satisfying to watch!
that's whats wrong with this video... no vocal explanation on the parts so your left with saying "plastic shapes" instead of a specific part. if you mean the wheels it very likely a custom part. i can make some on my mini lathe with delrin. although that doesn't help you much. sorry.
It looks like the domain that was originally hosting Gcoil is down. Would it be possible for you to upload the version you have so that I could grab a copy?
Supperb sir I want this machine Plz make for me I will give you a price for this machine I need this machine for making Speaker voice coil Plz sir replay me and i like your idea and work

Perfection at it's best !
Interesting tool build. We posted this one on our homemade tools forum yesterday, credited to you of course :)
Very very very great work sir....
You are genius bro 🎉

Nice project 👌
Respect you and your jobs
Saludos, gracias por compartir la experiencia.

Any info on the music featured on the video?

Hi. Can you tell me the name of your background music?
Nothing like porno music to get you pumped up for your next project.

Can you make a winding machine for sale? I am interested!
Can I buy it?
Bro what is the cost of this project
Esse fuso é de quantos mm?
How did you determine your starting X position?
How do you apply the insulating layers? Do you just stop the process in between layers and attach them manually?
И такую хочу ну очень класс !!!!!! Вам большой ЛАЙК!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bardzo ciekawy projekt! Ile Pana kosztowały wszystkie części?
हमे ये मशीन चाहिये कैसे मिलेगी
good job ...... Where do you buy the plastic shapes ...?

Nice tool! But there is one more question. Which material do you use for the "brake pads" at TC: 1:29?
Brake end tensioner pads are made of genuine thick leather.
Two thick leather stuck together
thx :-)
How did you make this? Any tutorial?
Very cool, next make 1 coil machine for toroidal traansformers
Supperb sir
I want this machine
Plz make for me
I will give you a price for this machine
I need this machine for making Speaker voice coil

See post # 7 this link works, I checked it now .
Awesome! Tesla would be proud.
मुझे मशीन ले ना है किमत कता है
