Just as you said a few weeks or months ago , to go way way back and see the older video when Weston was younger and shot his first deer, dam dam the sheer joy,excitment on his face was just outstanding. u should repost some of those old video with Weston am sure they will get u alot alot more views, just have to rename those old video's and i know people will love them, again the sheer excitment on his face was outstanding,few words could decribe it.
I have 2 Kiko mix, Mom and doe, mom's hooves were terrible when I got her but taking care of it a little at a time. Baby is scared to death of people from rough handling, trying to get her calmed down before looking at her feet. I have learned a lot from you Daniel, and Semper Fi to Dutch ! I subbed Hidden Heights also.

Great video! We are excited that we put a deposit on two ladies that are a kiko/spanish mix right here in Texas! Should be weaned off their babies by end of April...happy to add another animal to our homestead!
I crossed my all black Spanish doe with my black/ silver NZ kiko buck, and I got a brown black and white calico looking buckling lol. I was sure I would get a beautiful black or dark kid, but didn’t work out for me. Anyway adding the kiko gave me a larger bodied goat so I am pleased.
How could you drive 4 hours and not have Dutch too. Very cool video and my 3 favorite homestead friends in one video. I do love the view Kevin and Rachel have. I really enjoyed your view of Hidden Heights farm.
I will definitely be checking him out. I just went to check out a herd of mostly Kikos yesterday. I will be buying at least 2 does from them by the end of October. Whether I get more will depend on the price of other projects I have going on between now and then.
We watch you all the time on our big screen :) We just love your videos - love that gate if we get goats here next year we will have to look into it. We almost did a goat this year but my husband is more of a birdman . - Ruthie :)
Great fun and informative video. All I know about goats is that I love bar be cue goat tacos and burritos, BIG YUMMMM !! Spanish goats you say? Hmmmmm..
Sheep are not dumb. They are smart we had one sheep that could open four locks on the fence it finally took us 5 locks to keep her from letting out all of our 200 sheep and lambs . I can tell the difference between sheep and goats and lambs and kids . My niece shower hair sheep in 4-H plus a few other breeds . I know how to trim goats hoofs and milk them .
Spanish can handle the cold but they do need a shelter to get into in extreme conditions. I would recommend getting a line of Spanish that have the cashmere coat for colder climates.

With that round bales feeder you could easily put a tarp on top of the hay bales and bungee it onto the rails.

Yes meat goats have different characteristics in their meat. But the flavor is similar, some have more marbling.
