She was the wife of war veteran and had grandsons in the military. She was an all american kind of lady. Yes she liked kenny G. Good for you sergio you still have your grandma. Be thankful. 2021... I've been searching for this song for years. My amazing 5th grade teacher would play this entire CD. Lights off and we'd relax, read or whatever. For some reason this song brings happy tears to my eyes. I'm 36 now and I appreciate this song in a completely different way.

My high school Spanish teacher would play classical music and show us an art piece every day. In Friday’s she would quiz us. Not only was she teaching us Spanish but also to appreciate art.

In the early 90s my heart was filled with anger because I was brought to a country that I didn’t know, that I wasn’t part or prepared for it, I couldn’t speak the language I was just a young man who didn’t know anything, left friends, family and loved ones that I knew I would never ever seen again, used to sleep in the carpet at my little house and just cry at night listening to this beautiful song, some sad memories, glad that someone thought of creating something like this to ease my pain. I used to listen to this song everyday on radio, years ago, I think I was between 6 and 9 and it stuck in my head. I'm a 32-year-old-Vietnamese-guy. This is one of the 3 greatest tracks that Kenny recorded and was used (and still being used) a lot in my country on some TV programs. The first time i heard this and "Going home" is when i was about 2 or 3 years old, now 30 years gone by. I just knew the saxophone songs which were very catchy but had no idea about who played it. Now all is clear. And, an honor for Vietnamese citizen like me is when Kenny came to Vietnam and made new MV for "Going home".

I remember back in 2015, when i came to live with my cousin's husband while processing my university admission. He came home one night with Kenny G's "Breathless" Album, he played it every night during bedtime and i just had to fall in love with the smooth saxophone sounds and rhythm.
I got into the university after some months and i lived alone. I bought myself a mini pod and i played his songs especially this one every night, it helps me sleep soundly and peacefully away from all the madness of the world.
