I feel like he wanted me to search, learn of him. And the more I learned the more I grew closer to him. Now I feel blessed and there are many christians in my life helping my in this journey ❤️ everytime I have doubts on my knowledge, the answer comes knocking on my door so quickly! Jesus said that man does not live of bread alone, but from every word that comes from the mouth of God, and Peter likened the word of God to milk that we as newborn infants should long for. I’m not religious, but I love hearing people talk about their religions and helping me understand them more. As long as someone’s not trying to force me into it or ridicule me for not being religious, it’s honestly one of my favorite things to talk about. I grew up going to a church for daycare and we would do an hour long thing in the church, praying and reading bibles. It wasn’t very fun to me at the time, but I’m glad I got that experience.
Religion is what people have made it. Jesus is not religiousness...in fact, He was the opposite. He went against everyone to teach the things He did. His own people crucified Him. God knew we couldn't be religious and follow all the given laws which is why He stretched out his own hand so Jesus would be sacrifice. God knew we couldn't do it with our own strength. I promise if you truly seek Jesus and want to know Him, He will show you Himself. It's not an easy path but you will see miracles unfold before your eyes. I pray Jesus shows you His love ❤✝️

I was talking about the difference the world has made religion and religiousness and how it's different than being a true follower and seeker of Jesus. Im not here to convince you otherwise because that's not my job, only Jesus can do that. I also went to christian daycares growing up and went to a christian school for about 3 years. God obviously had you experience some of that in your childhood...only He knows the reason but it does show me that at least your parents cared about that little thing in your life, as did mine. Most parents don't care so it shows they were probably just trying to so the right thing or what they thought was best for you. To say that YOUR God and Jesus should reveal themselves to him doesn't seem appropriate to me, it's almost like imposing it by assuming that your beliefs are absolute truth when they are not. No one has absolute truth when talking about religion. While you think that's God's will, someone else might think it's nothing. It's not like everyone believes in some God controlling life.

God’s word is alive and is working on your heart. That’s why you feel a sense of peace. I want to encourage you to keep going. Get yourself a copy of the King James Bible and start reading. I always suggest starting with the New Testament and learn who Jesus is through His own words and those of His contemporaries. Jesus wants you and loves you more than you can imagine. Once you read the Gospels you’ll understand.
I'm a Muslim and I enjoyed learning about Christianity and knowing more about the messiah faith, as well you have a soothing calming voice that just invites people in, I completed the whole video 😊

As a non-religious person raised in a Christian family , this calmed me down,it made me feel like I was facing god directly and he was just speaking the gospel like you were in this video.
I had no idea there was Christian ASMR. I'm glad I can fall asleep with the word of the Lord because I feel like somehow it is imprinted in my mind even if I'm asleep.

As someone who was made to be Christian as a child, but is now atheist (to an extent) this is so relaxing. The page turning is the best part for me with how thin the pages are, they make the perfect sound for turning, and your voice is so soothing. Absolutely love this video and it helped me with my recent lack of sleep due to my great grandmother passing away with dementia. And although I'm atheist (again to an extent) I know she has regained her memories and is sitting with her husband in heaven looking down and watching all of us. So thank you ❤❤

I grew up Christian but felt too scared to continue to follow because I’m bisexual and have a girlfriend but I have had such a horrible month I needed comfort. I felt like I NEEDED to click on this, but from what I remember…God loves us all. No matter what. Maybe I needed to remember that. He still loves me. I’m still me regardless of what others judgements are, he’s here with me in hard times because he loves me.

I shared how listening to Bible readings makes me feel welcome, especially as a bisexual person. As a Methodist Christian, I was taught to love everyone, not judge them. Remember Matthew 7:1-2? It says, 'Do not judge, or you too will be judged.' I'm happily with a woman, and honestly, it’s not your place to tell me how to live my life. The God I know doesn’t condone judging others. Also, Jesus warned in Matthew 18:6 about harming the vulnerable, which shows what really matters. I was just trying to share something positive during a tough time, and your comment feels really ignorant.

While I was taught how “Man shall not lay with boy” you were taught “Man shall not lie with man.” I don’t need any reminders about how marriage is between a man and woman because it’s 2024- marriage is between anyone who loves each other. It was unnecessary and you’re putting your two cents or “God’s thoughts” where they don’t belong. How could that not come off negative? I obviously know people believe that’s how marriage should work, I live in a small town and have gotten physically assaulted on multiple occasions in high school for being with my partner. But I believe those were tests from God to see how committed I was to my love and how committed I am to being myself no matter the trials I face. My Bible teaches Pedophilia is immoral and that we should protect all children while yours has taught you that the way I love is immoral and should be controlled by law.

I have a hard time remembering information after I read it, so I rely on audiobooks to read chapters Bible. These help a lot since there aren’t a lot of audiobooks for the bible that aren’t either poor quality or dramatized with voices

I could not sleep yesterday, I watched multiple asmr vids but was still awake. After a while I came across this one... I genuinely wanted to listen because I was curious but fell asleep mid chapter 6 I think. This is absolutely perfect for me! I was conflicted about if I should listen to bible verses as I sleep, or if I should listen to ASMR because it helps me sleep. This is literally perfect!!!!
As a non-religious person raised in a Christian family , this calmed me down,it made me feel like I was facing god directly and he was just speaking the gospel like you were in this video.
I had no idea there was Christian ASMR. I'm glad I can fall asleep with the word of the Lord because I feel like somehow it is imprinted in my mind even if I'm asleep.

As someone who was made to be Christian as a child, but is now atheist (to an extent) this is so relaxing. The page turning is the best part for me with how thin the pages are, they make the perfect sound for turning, and your voice is so soothing. Absolutely love this video and it helped me with my recent lack of sleep due to my great grandmother passing away with dementia. And although I'm atheist (again to an extent) I know she has regained her memories and is sitting with her husband in heaven looking down and watching all of us. So thank you ❤❤

I grew up Christian but felt too scared to continue to follow because I’m bisexual and have a girlfriend but I have had such a horrible month I needed comfort. I felt like I NEEDED to click on this, but from what I remember…God loves us all. No matter what. Maybe I needed to remember that. He still loves me. I’m still me regardless of what others judgements are, he’s here with me in hard times because he loves me.

As a Methodist Christian, I was taught to love everyone, not judge them. Remember Matthew 7:1-2? It says, 'Do not judge, or you too will be judged.' I'm happily with a woman, and honestly, it’s not your place to tell me how to live my life. The God I know doesn’t condone judging others.
Also, Jesus warned in Matthew 18:6 about harming the vulnerable, which shows what really matters. I was just trying to share something positive during a tough time, and your comment feels really ignorant.
@CeciliaRoberts-oo5yz Your comment about marriage was incorrect in my case as the Bible you learned from if obviously not the Bible I learned from. While I was taught how “Man shall not lay with boy” you were taught “Man shall not lie with man.” I don’t need any reminders about how marriage is between a man and woman because it’s 2024- marriage is between anyone who loves each other. It was unnecessary and you’re putting your two cents or “God’s thoughts” where they don’t belong. How could that not come off negative? I obviously know people believe that’s how marriage should work, I live in a small town and have gotten physically assaulted on multiple occasions in high school for being with my partner. But I believe those were tests from God to see how committed I was to my love and how committed I am to being myself no matter the trials I face.
My Bible teaches Pedophilia is immoral and that we should protect all children while yours has taught you that the way I love is immoral and should be controlled by law.

I have a hard time remembering information after I read it, so I rely on audiobooks to read chapters Bible. These help a lot since there aren’t a lot of audiobooks for the bible that aren’t either poor quality or dramatized with voices

I could not sleep yesterday, I watched multiple asmr vids but was still awake. After a while I came across this one... I genuinely wanted to listen because I was curious but fell asleep mid chapter 6 I think. I am happy that I fell asleep but since I am interested in the content I came back today to listen to it starting where I fall asleep yesterday. I am very greatful for this.
