I walked the newest neighborhood in Tysons, The Boro. Boro is few block wide and likely the only walkable 'downtown' area. Even though it is small in size, Boro has a lot of really good restaurants, a movie theatre, shops, and an amazing outdoor park for events. There is also a pop-up park and a mural is currently being painted - keep an eye out for both of them near the end of the video.

For sure. Tysons has a long way to go but this is a good step forward. They have done really well with The Boro. I hope things get better and Tysons become more pedestrian friendly overtime.

@@francoherrera1265 Oh for sure, but it's also the plan that Fairfax county planners are planning for Tysons Corner to be a more urban walkable center of Fairfax county.
Building more dense housing, near public transit will help not only housing shortages but also climate change to reduce the amount of trips in cars.
But hey, if you enjoy suburban life and having to do everything in a car, by all means you have plenty of options in Nova lol. Herndon, Chantilly, Fairfax, Centreville, Ashburn, Sterling, Springfield, Burke....etc etc
One of the most spread-out downtowns I've ever seen, very modern buildings though!
