Hey Rob, I am having my 106SV mounted on the bow on Tuesday. I also purchased a network cable to run to my 126SV at the console. I updated the 126 when I got it, will the 106SV automatically update when we network them or do I need to do a seperate download for the 106SV ? Thanks, Bill
I can’t say for certain, but when I do an update I always just update them all at once. Active Captain will download all available updates for the units you have on the system, so I just let it do its thing and then install them all at once.
So if I add a 73sv to my 93sv can I use the one transducer? Will I be able to see sonar on both at same time? I’m trying to wrap my head around how this networking works. I want a console and bow screen off one transducer if possible
Yes you can do that. Once they are networked, you would just go into the bow units communication setting and tell it to read the sonar from the console unit. If you’re fishing up front though, just keep in mind the reading will be off by the length of your boat. In other words, you’ll be seeing the data from the transducer at the stern. Hope that clears it up. For what it’s worth, I recommend using 2 transducers. One at the console and one on the trolling motor.
I have a deeper question. With the two networed together off one transducer can one display traditional sonar or down view and the second unit do side view at the same time?
Yes, in the network menu, you can tell one unit to display the SideVu or ClearVu from the other. I have my front graph set up to get SideVu from the console one so it doesn’t move around when I use the trolling motor.
If your 73uhd and 93uhd are linked together when you pull up your trolling motor will 73 mimic what the 93 is showing automatically? I’m in the process of linking them together now.
Just a technicality, but there is no such thing as a 93SV ultra. The Ultra starts at the 106 size. But you’d need a network hub and network cables. Garmin GMS 10 Network Port Expander (Network Device) a.co/d/2zWkzgc amzn.to/3CcBnrW Thanks for watching.

Only if you have them setup to do that. When you pull up the trolling motor, that unit’s sonar will just show a few lines since the transducer is out of the water. Once they are linked though, you can configure them to read from one another, but it won’t do it just because you raised the trolling motor.

Hello thanks so much for the great info!! Do you have to have a lakevu g3 ultra card in one unit to share waypoints and maps between the two units?
I don’t think so. They will both have the waypoint, just may have different detail depending on the card.
Awesome buddy ! Thank you and thank for your service for our Country!!
I just purchased my 2nd 93SV so this video was right on time...
Thanks for watching

what do I need to network my 2 93sv ultras with my live scope?

Nice video - with NEMA 2000 connections... monitor the motor and control the fusion radio.

The only sonar screen I have the front unit reading from the back is the SideVu.
