"The tragedy of Debbie Reynolds and daughter Carrie Fisher, dying within one day of each other!! It's hard for some parents to get over losing a child, especially your firstborn!!" 😢😮❤😭🥲🙁😨😰😧😲😫😩😣🤧😇🤑😿🙀😻❤️🖤💙💓💗💐🌹🌻🌼🌟✨⭐🌛🌚
Debbie brought class, depth, and the all but forgotten glamour of the Golden Age of Hollywood to every scene she graced. There will never be another Debbie Reynolds
Singing "Good Morning" in the first clip is fully appropriate since she personally sang this in real life in her first major film, "Singin' In the Rain", in 1952. Art imitates art.
Of all the stars to grace this show Debbie was always my favorite. Amazing talent, amazing energy and you can tell she was loved and loved the people around her
Her energy always made the show fun!! She was Will, Grace, Karen and Jack all rolled into one character!! A complete hoot!! Sometimes even a little Rosario too!!
I remember watching this back in 2002, when I was going through a deep personal crisis "who am I? What am I doing? what does it all mean?" etc. I had just discovered Will and Grace series 2 and I loved it. So I got the VHS boxset (!!) of series 1. Series 1 was so full of interesting scenes, which really inspired you to reflect. When this one came and Debbie said "Grace... embrace who you are", I burst into tears. The meaning of it, the way she delivered the line, her facial expression. It went straight to my heart. Even today I have goose bumps watching it. What a magnificent little piece of high quality television and acting.
Met Debbie Reynolds at UAB Hospital in Birmingham where she was being the spokesperson for a Medicare Supplement for Seniors was being promoted. She came in with an entourage just as I was getting on the elevator. As the elevator doors closing she reached between the doors and grabbed my tie, pulling me back into the lobby and in her best Mae West said, “ com-ere handsome!” She pulled me along on her appointment while explaining what she was doing there, until we arrived for her appearance, about 15 minutes later. She released her hold on my tie and straightened it, before she got up to speak. She was witty, charming, and just like Bobbie Adler from “Will and Grace”. A beautiful memory from a lovely woman!
Excellent actress. When she delivers that line “And Grace, you’re terrific”, her voice, her expression, how she turns her head, and delivers that simple line as only Debbie Reynolds could do, just breaks my heart.
Adore the ' movable feast' episodes - Ms Debbie Reynolds Is quick witted, firing insults at Grace, then she fires insults complete with the ' told you so dance' ! Never fails to make one giggle!
I'm an old guy and Debbie Reynolds was a favorite of mine for long time, but never as much as when she played Grace's mother on W&G. I lived in Las Vegas from 1998-2015 and saw her do what she called "my little show" at the Orleans Casino, and because I was a local I got a discount on ticket prices. She was always amazing, always funny and entertaining in the shows. She had a home in Las Vegas, sort of close to UNLV and told us how she would get in her Cadillac to drive to the showroom. Finally, I had the pleasure of seeing her last show, when she and Carrie performed together. They were great, Carrie's daughter, Billie Lourd, was there that night and performed as well. Towards the end, they all sang together. I was very sad when I heard of their deaths, within about 24 hours of each other...
This was the Treat of My New Year...Bobbie Adler lit up the room!!! Ms. Reynolds comedy chops were on point and then some ... I was praying for a spin-off.... RIP Debbie Reynolds. Talent, Grace, and Beauty are just a few words to describe her but "Scene Stealer" and her ability to allow everyone in the scene to shine was Amazing...
The way she paused after the accidental stole-in-door, allowed the laugh to happen, then opened and closed the door in one fluid fully extended movement to make sure it released before it closed again - she knew so much about timing and how to use her body and the set and props. It’s such a tiny simple moment but it’s so perfectly executed it’s no wonder they kept it in.
How could you not include the scene where Grace was marrying James in season 8 : "Grace, I heard you're marrying a gay black man. Wouldn't it have just been easier to run me over with your car?"
[gasp!] How could you have forgotten "no panty lines because..... no panties!" or "Will, always light matches in the bathroom after poopie-doops" or "Well neither is my cottage cheese ass!" Okay, I see the problem: a true Best of Debbie Reynolds as Bobbi Adler reel would go on for hours. She was one of a kind!
One thing not shown here that was very touching was in one of the reboot episodes. Grace and her father are driving up to visit Bobbi's grave and he wants to stop and visit his deceased friends grave, who Grace openly hates. During the trip, Grace finally tells her father the reason she hates his friend so much is because when she was a teenager and working for him, he sexually assaulted her and fired her when she fled his attack. When her father asks why she never told him, she said she only ever told one person, a very close friend, years after the incident. Her father (and the audience) are lead to believe that she's referring to Will, but when Grace is alone at Bobbi's grave, she has a monologue where she tells Bobbi that she finally revealed it to her father, that *Bobbi* was the dear friend she was referring to. Even though there relationship was fraught, and Bobbi could be overbearing at times, she and Grace truly loved each other and were very close. For Grace to not only consider her a close friend, but to confess such a dark traumatic secret about a family friend to her mother, but also Bobbi to keep the secret to her grave even from her husband, just shows how much love and trust they had for each other. When I saw that, it had me in tears.
There was a funny scene where Grace denies being the center of attention, then storms off in sunglasses, a big hat and a scarf, like a Hollywood starlet.
Sad that Grace is just here to kill the fun. I would love to have a mother like Debbie Reynolds. Shutting her down every time she sings, who the hell treats her mother like that?
"Best of?" Come ON, these are just scenes from one episode. You didn't even try did you? You also spelt her name wrong in the thumbnail. Come on you can do better than this.
Debbie Reynolds was class. Sheer class. She stole ever scene. The camera loved her as did the world. RIP.
The best 🤩

She stole nothing! The scene gave itself to her willingly!

Well said

It was obviously intentional 😊

Bobbi to Grace: "embrace who you are." , proceeds to hug mom. very symbolic and touching
"Maybe you just got lucky..."
"No, I'M TERRIFIC. And YOU'RE TERRIFIC, TOO."
Melts my heart everytime. ❤

@@diananacewho am (!!? I NEVER understood that! How do you NOT know who you are! I guess we're just raised different!!! 🤷🏿♀️
The final scene with the scarf will forever be one of my favorites 😂 when even bloopers fit in perfectly you got magic
My all time favorite W&G scene as well...absolute classic
Looked like Will broke character and got himself back together😂
Whether it was supposed to happen like that or not, I roared. 🤣
@@kasessionit definitely wasn't. That was a blooper they left in... I remember Grace (Debra Messing) talking about it once on a podcast.
@@PowerDivaeither way, she still had the timing not to step on the laugh before she opened the door....

She shines!!

Debbie Reynolds really shined in this series almost greater than any of her motion pictures!!
Debbie Reynolds was pure sunshine and had old achool movie charm.

She wrote about that show, and included pictures, in her book

DEBBIE WAS AWSOME! MET HER IN PERSON AND SHE WAS SO KIND TO US!
The corn cob holder in her wig was hilarious I love that episode
Such a Beautiful lady 😢 Missed so much, what a talent she was 😇
You missed her best episode when they go back to the 80's and she sings gloria
Hey, if you haven’t seen Debbie Reynolds dance in singing in the rain, then I suggest you take a look because this woman was super talented!
Martini an don’t waste any space with those olives 😂😂😂😂😂😂 gotta loooove karen
I love that Charlotte the spider used the word “terrific” to describe herself
Great video. I also love her "I told you so" dance, Thanksgiving episode.
Happy heavenly birthday Debbie! We know you're up there having a ball!
the last bit was more wonderful than the first bit. That's saying a lot
I really love debbie Reynolds so much
I loved both Debbie Renal and will and grace. This was a fantastic union of comedy
Will and Grace is a treasure of American television...it so reminds me of "I Love Lucy"...with a twist lol
Debbie Reynolds worked in showbiz the whole time from 1948 onward.
2:35 ❤❤❤❤❤ 4 of these little 2s 🤣🤣🤣
Debbie Reynolds…….fantastic talent, fabulous lady and really missed and loved by all.
Debbie, Molly, cher and Minnie where the best guest stars on the show!
Minnie Driver was amazing!! Loved her character 😊
Mira Sorvino was excellent!
She really was “terrific”!

Bobbi Adler episodes are my favorites 😍
Look, Mummenschanz! OMFG😍🥰🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
i first found out about debbie renolds when i was a kid and i saw the halloweentown movies
Fabulous Bobbie Adler from Schenectady
There were some Genius comedians on that show, and Debbie Reynolds was right in there with them.....just like she did on Roseanne.
#ComedyBitesVinage these clips are funny 😂😂😂😂
Queen of queens

😭😭😭
Because all they did was use scenes from her first episode and then call it a "best of". Pretty lame and Debbie deserves better.
Then make your own or STFU 🙄@@ismayb754

What, no "I told ya so" dance?
How did you not include the I told you so dance and the great line "well so is my cottage cheese ass."
Adorable
Lovely AF. No, really. 😂❤😂❤
Not to change the subject but Debra Messing is gorgeous.
Debbie Reynolds and her Carrie Fisher were the best.
RIP Debbie your in heaven with Carrie❤

The dance with Karen is funny!!😀🕎✡🇮🇱
Told you so dance is right up there …. Told u, told u, told u so !!!
She would have been great as the Frazier's mother against Daphne's mother....
I wish in the later recap of the 11 years later shows they had included there adult kids kids
There was a funny scene where Grace denies being the center of attention, then storms off in sunglasses, a big hat and a scarf, like a Hollywood starlet.
Check the thumbnail... You've spelt her name wrong 🤦♂️
💖
Why didn't they include that bit where Karen sang 'Good Morning' with Debbie when she entered the room singing too?!?!?!?!
They literally did!!! 👀🙄
Debbie Reynolds playing a Jewish mother. Who woulda thought?
Jewish mother, who's a mediocre actor, singer, & dancer. That's what makes the role hilarious.
all the scenes from the same episode but calling it a "best of". its disrespectful. please fix this. everyone is commenting the same thing.
Sad that Grace is just here to kill the fun. I would love to have a mother like Debbie Reynolds. Shutting her down every time she sings, who the hell treats her mother like that?
😮
She doesn’t like her mom
Calamity Jane.
Would have been nice if you’d spelled her name right on the thumbnail, but whatever 🤷♂️
You knew WTF they were talking about!!! 🙄🤡
Shouldve had Carrie on with her too
For what??? 🙄 Y'all do too much!!! 🙄
Debbie Reynolds is my 14th cousin 1x removed.
That means she is NOT related to you!!! 🤡🙄
"Best of?" Come ON, these are just scenes from one episode. You didn't even try did you? You also spelt her name wrong in the thumbnail. Come on you can do better than this.
Why do old women think they look good with hair like that ??
Unpopular opinion but I could never stand that woman. Same insincere cheesy fake Kathie Lee Gifford vibe.
But THATS the point. That's why she was so funny. It was the total opposite of who she really was ❤
makes sense then, that you would stop to comment on a video full of her scenes
