This series have no rigth to be as entertaining as this. I love how 3 episodes in Kate begins to doubt here parenting methods :D :D Gotta keep that kid fit :D :D
As far as I've seen, that really doesn't do much unless you go to the ACTUALLY starving her diet. Even then, it takes a long time and _murders_ her constitution (which is a bad idea if you're going for a warrior ending)! What you do, is keep it on normal all the time, then have her do summer vacations at the beach. This'll take her weight down WITHOUT messing up her HP.
It isn't that weird to enjoy PLAYING this game, even if you're a guy! I've seen/heard of many cases of this--and if you look up Let's Plays on TH-cam, quite a few of them are by dudes. My friend wrote me to say that her seven year old nephew had gotten hooked on the game, a DAY after I recommended it to her...
Yes. I'm also reminded of the Level0NPC's playthrough--for their thumbnail, they drew a cartoon of the daughter running off into the sunset while flipping them off with both hands. XD
This game's idea of "fat" tends to range from "barely within the bottom level of the healthy range" to actually a bit _under_weight. Thin enough to wear the fancier dresses is pretty much "DEAR GOD PLEASE EAT SOMETHING!"

Yeah it's actually an older game but I think only got released on Steam recently.
You can get the older version at abandonia, but you need to use dosbox and other stuff to get it running
