Se dice que la gente engreída y presumida de la provincia de Córdoba es la del sur,sur Este de la provincia, la mayoría de inmigrantes italianos (llamados vulgarmente "gringos")., Ya que estos habitantes en una época buena del país, les fue muy bien en la agricultura y ganadería , la mayoría de estos habitantes son de origen piamontés del norte de Italia,un pueblo que no se integró a la provincia de Córdoba cultural mente y suelen ser muy tacaños en lo económico, si te refieres a este tipo de gente, estoy de acuerdo con tigo, . En la ciudad de Córdoba, la gente no me pareció soberbia, todo lo contrario,tomando en cuenta que es la ciudad capital más grande del país y segunda ciudad más grande después de la capital federal. The place was first named "Villa Calamuchita". But in 1941, some drunk sailors who survived from german battleship Graff Spee, were living there and burned an argentine flag down, claiming that this place should be named "Villa Graff Spee". So, argentinian government decided to name the place after Manuel Belgrano, a general who created national flag in the 1800, as a form of reparation.

As an Argentinian we have a very big country (8th largest in the World) with tons of places to see! 24 provinces and each has it's charm! As an Argentinian I can confirm we are a country built by immigrants much like Australia or USA that is why it's very common to see Argentinians with Spanish or Italian or German and even Japanese last names! Ich lernte Villa General Belgrano 1995 kennen, als wir mit meiner Frau auf unserer „Flitterwochen“ waren. Wir waren auch im Bremer Hotel. Die ganze Stadt war viel kleiner als heute, aber wir haben jeden Tag dort genossen, die Spaziergänge und auch den Ausflug zur „La Cumbrecita“ (ich hoffe, Sie haben den Wasserfall gesehen). Sie müssen auch Bariloche besuchen. Grüße.

There is a lot of german descendence in another provinces like Rio negro, Misiones, Entre Rios, Chaco and Buenos Aires. In Buenos Aires more difficult to find cause everthing is very mixed. The craziest thing from argentina is that mixture of people from all countries. Crazy that in europe still yet very fobic between eachother. Only the capitals are people from all the world.

Hi Sabine, new subscriber here! Three of my 4 grandparents went from Germany in the mid-20´s last century. Both my parents were born here in Argentina, but they went to a bi-lingual prep and high school so the were fluent in german and spanish. Some say that a large part of the "Graff Spee´s" crew members went to Villa General Belgrano, after she sank in WWII in the Río de la Plata, due to the german/austrian/swiss population in that town. I never went to VGB, but I´ve heard a lot of amazing and beautifull stories from there. And it´s true: it is one of the largest Oktoberfest besides Munich. In the mid-20´s last Century, if someone decided to flee from Europe to America, there were only 2 possible and affordable destinations: New York or Buenos Aires )Argentina). Back in those days we were a very powerful and promising country to immigrate due to our growing economy a chances to succeed. Both my parents were born here. Cheers.

La ciudad de Crespo en Entre Rios es la capital de la avicultura, tambien hacen la fiesta de la cerveza, etc, son alemanes del Volga. Hay infinidad de pueblos en esta provincia. Tambien en Misiones, Bariloche, etc

Lovely video, Girl!! I spent over a week in Villa General Belgrano and visited La Cumbrecita 15 years ago. Beautiful fairy like landscapes and memorable food! It looks bigger now and probably deserves one more visit. 😉 I'd like to go there again but not in summer; it was too hot, especially to appreciate those German dishes, hahaha. If you do some quick research, you'll find out there are many small towns in Argentina funded by European communities that still keep some of their culture and traditions. This is not strange at all since a relevant part of our roots are traced in Europe. You just have to pay attention to surnames and the diversity of origins you'll find, will tell you all. Despite some silly comments, the bond among these inmigrant communities has grown strong to build the very singular Argentine identity, and that's why so many different cultures resonate with us and we may find something familiar in every place we go. By the way, I didn't know you are Austrian. Such a beautiful country Austria, still on my checklist! I'd love to visit Vienna and Salzburg and if possible, explore Tyrol.
Que bueno que hayas visitado Cordoba, Villa General Belgrano, se transformó en una ciudad con características Alemanas debido a que muchos de los sobrevivientes del buque Admiral Graf Spee crucero de guerra en la segunda guerra mundial, hundido por su propio Capitán luego de ser averiado por buques ingleses frente a las costas de Uruguay, Muchos de estos Marinos se refugiaron durante el resto de la Guerra en este Pueblo Cordobés, ya que contaba con una pequeña Colonia de Alemanes, lo mismo sucedió con el pueblo La Cumbrecita. También en Bariloche muchos Alemanes que huyeron después de la Guerra se establecieron en esa hermosa Ciudad con paisajes muy parecidos a los Alpes Europeos
Mostraron muy poco de La Cumbrecita, como cascadas, arroyos en el bosque, en pequeño centro comercial ( encantador) y las mejores vistas. En Argentina no hay buitres, sino cóndores! Lástima que no tuvieron la suerte de ver esos lugares con nieve. Pero les da una excusa para volver y conocer más, en especial el Oktoberfest.

I rented the same hotel room in the Bremen Hotel on vacations lol, also the "Bar Suizo" from La Cumbrecita is the very best. Excelent place. About Austria, you can buy an Österreich beer glass in both places, i have 2 in my house and are my favourites.

Three of my 4 grandparents went from Germany in the mid-20´s last century. Both my parents were born here in Argentina, but they went to a bi-lingual prep and high school so the were fluent in german and spanish.
Some say that a large part of the "Graff Spee´s" crew members went to Villa General Belgrano, after she sank in WWII in the Río de la Plata, due to the german/austrian/swiss population in that town.
I never went to VGB, but I´ve heard a lot of amazing and beautifull stories from there. And it´s true: it is one of the largest Oktoberfest besides Munich.

@@innae8276 My parents didn´t leave Germany, my Grandparents did (at least 3 of them) after the Great War (WWI) ended due to economical reasons.
In the mid-20´s last Century, if someone decided to flee from Europe to America, there were only 2 possible and affordable destinations: New York or Buenos Aires )Argentina). Back in those days we were a very powerful and promising country to immigrate due to our growing economy a chances to succeed.

Lovely video, Girl!! I spent over a week in Villa General Belgrano and visited La Cumbrecita 15 years ago. Beautiful fairy like landscapes and memorable food! It looks bigger now and probably deserves one more visit. 😉 I'd like to go there again but not in summer; it was too hot, especially to appreciate those German dishes, hahaha. If you do some quick research, you'll find out there are many small towns in Argentina funded by European communities that still keep some of their culture and traditions. This is not strange at all since a relevant part of our roots are traced in Europe. You just have to pay attention to surnames and the diversity of origins you'll find, will tell you all. Despite some silly comments, the bond among these inmigrant communities has grown strong to build the very singular Argentine identity, and that's why so many different cultures resonate with us and we may find something familiar in every place we go. By the way, I didn't know you are Austrian. Such a beautiful country Austria, still on my checklist! I'd love to visit Vienna and Salzburg and if possible, explore Tyrol.
Que bueno que hayas visitado Cordoba, Villa General Belgrano, se transformó en una ciudad con características Alemanas debido a que muchos de los sobrevivientes del buque Admiral Graf Spee crucero de guerra en la segunda guerra mundial, hundido por su propio Capitán luego de ser averiado por buques ingleses frente a las costas de Uruguay, Muchos de estos Marinos se refugiaron durante el resto de la Guerra en este Pueblo Cordobés, ya que contaba con una pequeña Colonia de Alemanes, lo mismo sucedió con el pueblo La Cumbrecita. También en Bariloche muchos Alemanes que huyeron después de la Guerra se establecieron en esa hermosa Ciudad con paisajes muy parecidos a los Alpes Europeos
Mostraron muy poco de La Cumbrecita, como cascadas, arroyos en el bosque, en pequeño centro comercial ( encantador) y las mejores vistas. En Argentina no hay buitres, sino cóndores! Lástima que no tuvieron la suerte de ver esos lugares con nieve. Pero les da una excusa para volver y conocer más, en especial el Oktoberfest.

Si, es una especie de buitre, por eso la denominación de su nombre en latín "Vultur" gryphus. Cóndor proviene del quechua que les decían kuntur.

I loved your video, im from Córdoda and Villa General Belgrano is my place to go on Saturdays or Sundays to eat with my GF. I rented the same hotel room in the Bremen Hotel on vacations lol, also the "Bar Suizo" from La Cumbrecita is the very best. Excelent place.
About Austria, you can buy an Österreich beer glass in both places, i have 2 in my house and are my favourites.

Me alegro que hayas visitado la Villa. Me sorprendió mucho cuando visistaste "Mula Plateada" ya que yo trabajé ahí hace no mucho tiempo y es un sitio muy bueno para comer. La persona con la que hablaste en el museo de la Octoberfest es el padre de una amiga mia, lol. Espero hayas disfrutado la estadia, no soy de Villa General Belgrano pero vivo aquí hace 6 años, casi 7 años.
Es un lugar hermoso para pasear y disfrutar, sobre todo si vienes acostumbrado de la rutina de la ciudad como le sucede a muchos que vienen de Buenos Aires o Cordoba Capital.

Argentina como muchos países del mundo se crearon y crecieron con extranjeros. Argentina es un país joven que fue conquistado por europeos. Yo tengo descendencia italiana pero la diferencia Es que en este país la gente puede vivir tranquilo sin preocupaciones de ser discriminado por ser judío ruso o francés. (Los negros son otro tema) no cómo otros países potencias mundiales que hacen las cosas muy difíciles para los extranjeros. Y eso me da mucho orgulloso . Si la intención del vídeo era descalificar a la gente por ser descendencia alemana eso me da la razón sobre la mentalidad de las personas de primer mundo.

Lindo lugar, no me acuedo a donde, pero leí que esos alemanes de La Cumbrecita se quisieron acentar en La Cumbre, pero por cuestiones de enemistad en Europa no los dejaron. Porque en La Cumbre y alrededores hay fuerte presencia de ingleses entre otras muchas etnias. No se si sera verdad...
En la cumbre si estan los ingleses pero no se si es cierto lo de la rivalidad...
