I agree with both of you. When I saw this for the first time, I was horrified by seeing that what children can do just to get content. It is not just a prank but it is actually playing with emotions of their parents. That's why I adore you magic flicks. You always give true reactions💜💜

Yea with hands, legs, chalk piece, duster and sometimes when they are really angry books, bags, chairs, other kids, basically anything and everything
I remember being very aggressive and bullyish to other boys .. I was very anti-social and I remember once I beat up this innocent kid smaller than me and they called my parents .. my father slapped me infront of everyone and I instantly knew what the kid felt like .. later he took me out for ice cream.
I remember being physically punished so that I don't continue doing wrong things .. because I was very stubborn as a kid
I'm very greatful that my parents cared enough to correct my mistakes .. they love me .. they basically lived out their years dedicated to me yet punished me when necessary .. I don't see how both cannot coexist .. I know it can .. it has with me.
And NO I'm not scarred and shy or ultra aggressive I was raised to be a gentleman and defend myself when necessary .. rough play isn't abuse, it teaches you controlled aggression ..like martial arts.
This doesn’t work with all kids your personal opinion in fact I can say most kids that get beat would experience totally opposite of what you did, yet I receive the same as you my mum beat sense into and I respect my mum for that but I’d never lay a hand on my future kids cause In general it doesn’t work cause it hurts kids mentally!

I think beating is not about inflicting pain but to create the fear so children don't fall off line and do something bad. Since it's unregulated obviously we also have negative cases but it's still common here

My parents never hit me like that. My mom used to scold me a lot when I made mistakes but never faced these stuff , not even once. I'm happy my parents aren't like the ones in those videos.
All parents are different, it doesn't mean if they hit you they are bad, its just their way

I fully agree with you. Parents shouldn't hit their kids. Unfortunately it's seen as normal here in India.
I would rather hit my kids and discipline them rather than him stealing something or doing something bad and getting shot by cops. Discipline your kids early. Hitting kids is normal, its how they learn.

Inception mode on:we are reacting on the reaction in which they react on the reaction of the comedians who react om the prank videos which are merely based on the mummy papas reaction .so ultimately what we find here is that real thing is with u ,u need to find it .now it's ur wish to find it outsides or in the inside
So my parents were in (self admittedly) extremely abusive households..my granddad had a cane just for beating the kids up and my dad and uncles have had fractured bones because of it. So my dad made a conscious decision never to beat his kids and so i grew up without physical abuse of any kind except for a few spankings here and there from my mom when i did something really shitty. I think the circle of abuse only stops when you realise its not good for the child's mental health at all but most people in India believe it to be beneficial to the child..

When the kid really does something bad or wrong that may have a bad affect on his or other's life , you need to show that you are upset , but that should not be how hard you hit , but how impactful it is on his/her mind , it is very sad to see some people supporting thrashing or heavy hits , especially to children , the immature mind can develop inferiority complex , subconscious trauma leading to insecurities and demotivational thoughts .
