I recently became so connected with God however I committed a sin that has brought shame and I can’t even stand to look the Lord in the eyes and beg for forgiveness, I can’t believe I did it.
What I find interesting is that pride is not the opposite of shame, but its source. Without pride, there's nothing to be ashamed of because there's no pride saying "I am insulted" or "I am better than that, or at least I should be, and I don't tolerate to be treated any other way except according to my value". And without pride, we wouldn't be so hasty to surrender to our passions and to sin against God and each other. This is why we are to "deny ourselves, pick up our crosses and follow the Christ". Best way to fight against pride is to practice humility.

Needed to hear this. I just recently got saved and was thinking about all the sinful things I had done in my past and was so shameful. I repented and have stopped doing those sinful things. I confessed all the things I have done in my past to my mom.I couldn’t sleep. I don’t know if it was the Holy Spirit telling me to tell her those things or not. But I’m still thinking about things that I did in my past.
i'm truly at the lowest point of my life currently. i've been praying the last 2-3 years every night for strength and courage from god, to my own personal battles and struggles. being always alone makes it worse, i wish i had somebody in my life that i could trust, talk and share with. i'm not expecting god to just suddenly help me and make everything better for me, i know it's up to me with my own actions and will to trust and follow god. even when knowing all of this, i want to give up... and it feels like i already did. i keep thinking to myself that my life is not worth living and i need to die young, i know it's the wrong road to follow... i'm running out of strenght and time
I can give you two answers I hope they help. 1. *Zechariah 13:9 I will bring that group through the fire and make them pure. I will refine them like silver and purify them like gold.* Like how fire refines silver struggles and hardships refine people. Suffering often builds character you become stronger once you overcome yeah? God uses struggles to develop the character of a person just know God is in control. 2. *Psalm 34:18 The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.* which means God does care about those who suffer don't think he doesn't hear your prayers or see your pain but for encouragement take *Romans 8:18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.* It hurts God to see people suffer but he knows what awaits them makes it all worth while.
Dont give up friend, dont invite the spirit of death I hope so much u get delivered Im here lonely too.. But See, now we r not that alone anymore. U r here i am there and so r many. I was struggling breathing, loss of blood, literally feeling life draining out of me... God has put fear in me, fear of sin .... I feel like if I am sinning just a little more, I will die soon.. Panick attacks, often .... i'm running out of strenght and time - exatly the same... I have pains at every breath ... At least If I die - I will go home... Some times I pray for death - just to go home with Jesus... but I know He don't want this... He saved my life like 5 or .. who's counting ... and the worst part is that I did'nt desrve it ... and He keeps me alive - sometimes I have thought that God keeps me alive in pain like a punishment - but this is not true... And this little human gave me a sound mind ... to keep fighting ... Don;t give up until your last breath ! I am here with you and God see us, me and you and all of us... I haven't given you a spirit of fear but of power , love and sound-mind !

🇬🇧 Becky! I wanted to say “Hi!” and to express my enjoyment of how you are teaching God’s Word because I am at a time in my life where I am starting to realise how much I REALLY NEED Him!! I have SO MUCH Shame & Guilt placed on me (from Satan)… maybe he does have that Stronghold over me that it’s making it very difficult to overcome! The fact that I am writing this comment surely must acknowledge to Our Lord & Saviour that I don’t want to take His Grace for granted! I have been SO Angry though too with Satan: calling him every name under the sun out loud, saying “Oh you’ll get your punishment when the time comes!’, etc… almost every time I hear about an example of trouble he is causing in the world, I get so mad at him, and even the people he is using to do it, and I find it hard to forgive those who are carrying out his schemes! Anyway I’ve been listening to you ALOT (and praying too ;)) that the Lord helps me to take heed and to let go of all the shame and anger! You have such an energy & gentleness about you (God-given) that keeps encouraging me to come back to your channel - I even have the OliveTree App on my iPad which I open into split-screen mode so I can read passages along with you & use it to take notes & paste Links into. Jesus is my shepherd and he save me from my sin. Repent and forgive at the moment when you know it going to happen or after it happens give it up to the lord and apologize in the moment if happens to a friend, stranger or a family when you know you mess up. Worship the lord with all your heart and spirit to help you in prayer and focus on the lord to help you out and let him to the Bible verse you need to read to remind yourself to figure out on overcome things. Being in group of believers or people you can trust you walk with the lord ask for help to be heal on thing to be forgiving.

Personally, I find, that you can be going alright and then have a rather dramatic fall that requires you to get back to basics and back to a higher degree of holiness! I find fasting helps!Xx
We're goofy sheep~! ☺As little children to our Father (the Shepherd), we're constantly bumping into each other and falling down in our various ways, but to a parent, these scrapes, sways, & thuds are always in the context of little children on a playing field, learning & growing and trying to bring out all that beauty & truth God put in us~! We may feel shame in a moment, but our Father sees the people we're growing into in the people we are today, so the errors & missteps are part of the process of growing: it's through practice that we find out how to step & how to fall, how to get up & how to re-engage, with genuine Love & an ardent heart~! The path to discovering ourselves (as God sees us) is always going to be chock full of bounces, scrapes, & tangles as we learn the right way in practice from the right way in theory. As little children, we just need to "course correct" and stay engaged. The only shame is in stopping & never growing up~ 💛
Keep staying up-to-date, forgive every prayer, and ask help.... My attitude changes to good ways like him.... avoid bad behaviour and bad speaking, etc... God will help you change improve to good faith 🙏 ❤

I'm new around here and have been listening to Beckys videos for a short time now. I've enjoyed listening to them from time to time while driving to work. However, this time, I would like to address the quote she mentioned that has backslid many believers. "God hates sin but not the sinner." All though God in fact hates sin and has no darkness in him, he also hates the sinner. This isn't favored in many churches today, especially in Western culture. The perfect example to describe this is to learn about the story Jacob I loved and Esau I hated. To try to make this comment as short as possible, Jacob wrestled with God. God continued to test and disapline him because Jacob had true and genuine repentance. While Esau showed repentance, they were not true and genuine, and what did God do? Allowed Esau to be Esau. God gave him what he wanted. You see, if you are a child of God, a born again believer, it is not your own doing but his alone. He who began a good work in you will finish it. He will not allow you to run wild. You belong to him entirely. Jesus never sat down with sinners who had no true and genuine repentance because they had already made their decision. However, those that he sat down with were mourning over their sins. Blessed are those that mourn for they will be comforted according to the beatitudes. God is love so therefore he must hate. It is really encouraging to see Becky continue to grow in her faith as I have watched her video about her testimony and to see all those notes on her walls is a beautiful sight to see. Lets all continue to chase after God. Paul Washer quoted: "Do not think of youself when saved you are to serve but saved in order to seek."
Yes I agree in this world there is nobody without sin so now you have two types of people the world "Esau" who delight in sin and the church "Jacob" who are covered by grace even though they sin. God hates sinners who "delight" in wickedness (Psalm 5:4-5) much like Esau yet he loved Jacob who wasn't exactly sinless either but had a heart completely for God therefore "God hates the sin but not the sinner" is portrayed perfectly in Jacob when compared to Esau. I think Becky's video is more of an encouragement to true believers who feel the shame and guilt once they sin because I knew a lot of people who thought "once I become a Christian sin will go away hooray!" then it all goes down south so they start distancing themselves from God and the church all together that's why Paul wrote in Romans 7:17 *"As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me."* that's my two cents anyway lol.

Boys and girls it's a blessing to be with a person who really love God with all hearts, mind and soul because we just find few . Everyone can speak good word but just few people are doing or working with word of God . Knowledge is useless without actions . If you want to see the things which God said it's your first you need to know to truth through the help of holy spirit then you have to live on it then you can see the results and fruits knowing is not enough
Until you realise that you've been given the gift of Righteousness, your walk with Jesus will be plagued with difficulty... especially the disease of condemnation.

@3:20 : 'sanctification' : refer to Jesus in Jn 17:17-19. Two senses : same word. 1) set apart by God for His purpose. 2) process of progressive holiness. We aren't 'sinless' but over time, we sin...less.😊
God does indeed hate the sinner. He doesn't simply hate only the sin. Psalms 5:5 and 11:5. God is the God of the living only. Not the the God of those who are dead in sin. Matthew 22:32

There are two laws that are in place the Law of Moses and the Law of JESUS On Judgement no on will be proven righteous by the law of Moses because no one was able to be perfect under that law except Jesus That is why it is a curse but everyone who decides to trust on Jesus for their salvation will be saved on that day so it is up to all of us to decide under which law to be judged. @@skippy675
God doesn’t want us to be perfect it is not possible to be perfect that’s why we need Jesus. We are all sinners and we will all mess up. We are saved through grace not works. Of course do your best to turn away from sin and walk with God but he doesn’t expect perfection. None of us are worthy for heaven it’s only through the grace of god and the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

I am exactly in your situation... Alone and stuff, recently , a year ago, I almost died because of multiple sins... I was struggling breathing, loss of blood, literally feeling life draining out of me... God has put fear in me, fear of sin .... I feel like if I am sinning just a little more, I will die soon.. Panick attacks, often ....
i'm running out of strenght and time - exatly the same... I have pains at every breath ... At least If I die - I will go home...
Some times I pray for death - just to go home with Jesus... but I know He don't want this... He saved my life like 5 or .. who's counting ... and the worst part is that I did'nt desrve it ... and He keeps me alive - sometimes I have thought that God keeps me alive in pain like a punishment - but this is not true...
And this little human gave me a sound mind ... to keep fighting ... Don;t give up until your last breath ! I am here with you and God see us, me and you and all of us...
I haven't given you a spirit of fear but of power , love and sound-mind !
I'm new around here and have been listening to Beckys videos for a short time now. I've enjoyed listening to them from time to time while driving to work. However, this time, I would like to address the quote she mentioned that has backslid many believers.
"God hates sin but not the sinner."
All though God in fact hates sin and has no darkness in him, he also hates the sinner. This isn't favored in many churches today, especially in Western culture. The perfect example to describe this is to learn about the story Jacob I loved and Esau I hated. To try to make this comment as short as possible, Jacob wrestled with God. God continued to test and disapline him because Jacob had true and genuine repentance. While Esau showed repentance, they were not true and genuine, and what did God do? Allowed Esau to be Esau. God gave him what he wanted.
You see, if you are a child of God, a born again believer, it is not your own doing but his alone. He who began a good work in you will finish it. He will not allow you to run wild. You belong to him entirely.
Jesus never sat down with sinners who had no true and genuine repentance because they had already made their decision. However, those that he sat down with were mourning over their sins. Blessed are those that mourn for they will be comforted according to the beatitudes.
God is love so therefore he must hate. It is really encouraging to see Becky continue to grow in her faith as I have watched her video about her testimony and to see all those notes on her walls is a beautiful sight to see. Lets all continue to chase after God.

"Do not think of youself when saved you are to serve but saved in order to seek."
Yes I agree in this world there is nobody without sin so now you have two types of people the world "Esau" who delight in sin and the church "Jacob" who are covered by grace even though they sin. God hates sinners who "delight" in wickedness (Psalm 5:4-5) much like Esau yet he loved Jacob who wasn't exactly sinless either but had a heart completely for God therefore "God hates the sin but not the sinner" is portrayed perfectly in Jacob when compared to Esau.
I think Becky's video is more of an encouragement to true believers who feel the shame and guilt once they sin because I knew a lot of people who thought "once I become a Christian sin will go away hooray!" then it all goes down south so they start distancing themselves from God and the church all together that's why Paul wrote in Romans 7:17 *"As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me."* that's my two cents anyway lol.

Boys and girls it's a blessing to be with a person who really love God with all hearts, mind and soul because we just find few . Everyone can speak good word but just few people are doing or working with word of God . Knowledge is useless without actions . If you want to see the things which God said it's your first you need to know to truth through the help of holy spirit then you have to live on it then you can see the results and fruits knowing is not enough
Until you realise that you've been given the gift of Righteousness, your walk with Jesus will be plagued with difficulty... especially the disease of condemnation.

Yet in the gospel of Luke Jesus clearly says that anyone who doesn't hate his parents, siblings and his own life cannot be his disciple.
So which is it?
There are two laws that are in place the Law of Moses and the Law of JESUS On Judgement no on will be proven righteous by the law of Moses because no one was able to be perfect under that law except Jesus That is why it is a curse but everyone who decides to trust on Jesus for their salvation will be saved on that day so it is up to all of us to decide under which law to be judged.

God doesn’t want us to be perfect it is not possible to be perfect that’s why we need Jesus. We are all sinners and we will all mess up. We are saved through grace not works. Of course do your best to turn away from sin and walk with God but he doesn’t expect perfection. None of us are worthy for heaven it’s only through the grace of god and the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
