I’m glad you do these anonymously. These types of things are becoming more frequent , especially with the resurgence of collecting, and are usually quick cash schemes using leftover cards and weighed packs to ensure profit. It’s wack , sorry for the pulls you got, but also thanks for shedding light on it.

This would be interesting, however, I don't think you will see the results you expect. They most likely do not speak English, know nothing about Pokémon cards, just in it for the cash and are far too busy scamming people, so who knows if they would even know who PokeRev is.
I don’t know if anyone else has noticed this but the Inteleon at 17:04 is an error card. The holo appears to be shifted, just look at the energies.

From what I have seen, 99% of the time you will only get GMA graded cards from these boxes. They just show PSA graded card pictures to get people to buy them.
Probably 1 out of 1000 is a psa

i saw these on ebay as well and im a fan of mystery boxes, but i checked out some other youtube videos and its definitely just a card dump advertised as some professional, top of the line mystery boxes. They arent the worst and im sure theres OCCASIONALLY a hit or two, but these are definitely rough

Srsly i could sell these graded 10 raichus for 80$ without problems.
Same with the 8,5 parasect! Easy 40$! Just sell on eBay via auction and you are good.
I mean cmon i sold a PSA 6 unlimited Base Set caterpie for 50$ not long ago...

I ordered this exact same thing (Gold Level) and got a GMA 10 Raichu as well lol. Honestly the best thing in it was a first editions neo gen Cyndaquil that came in the random stack of cards. Big L overall.
I got 2 silver boxes back in March. My graded cards were a GMA 8.5 Charizard GX and a PSA 8 Rev Holo Fletchinder. I also got a Vivid Voltage booster pack on one and a Shining Fates on the other. Nothing crazy pulled. But it was fun to try a couple mystery boxes. I do not recommend. It's one of those novelty things you get just for the fun and mystery of it, hence the name lol. But yeah. That's not to say people won't ever get anything great, because I'm sure there are a few who have. But not worth trying to invest in this other than for the fun aspect of it.
Thanks for doing these. Definitely puts these companies in check and helps save a lot of people too, while being great content. These companies may not be the gold standard but at least you are Rev

It's absolutely baffling how people turned this amazing hobby into a cash grab as if people can make millions off of a single pack of cards and now you can hardly find a pack of cards in stores for your own hobby sure its cool knowing the prices I wouldn't try selling them for over priced prices but the scalpers or people who are only in it for the money stake out at the stores when they get restocked and buy em all out its ridiculous and leave none for anyone else only thinking of themselves and their wallets and they think its okay mystery box salesman included they've just been around longer than the scalpers I blame Logan Paul for this too he turned it into a cash grab and I kinda despise it I can never find cards in stores around me because people think they are gonna become millionaires off of a pack of Brilliant Stars or Shining Fates or Celebrations because it has a reprint of Base Set Charizard in it it's stupid sorry for the rant bro.

I think you could do a whole series on these...but where you actually name and shame the dodgy sellers if you get ripped-off, so other collectors don't fall into the same trap.
It’s always better to buy singles or packs in terms of value wise. Nevertheless, it’s always fun to see unboxing of mystery boxes.

Always wondered about these mystery boxes 🤔. Thanks for taking it on the chin Rev to give us an insight on what's actually in them. On the whole, I think it's a neat idea, but I think these particular ones the contents was so very random. Had those slabs been better it may hav made it a more purchasable product. I ordered one of these styles of mystery boxes back in 2016. I got a BCCG 10 Venusaur from Pop Series 2. Was an incredible pull as there's only 2 BCCG 10s in the world haha.
I'd rather see you open this than all the amazing sealed vintage shit that there will never be more of...

I have a bunch of those 2009 Championships cards! Got them in California when I was a kid around 13 years old. Pretty cool, but even the app that I use doesn't have it registered. Not certain if they hold much value, but perhaps a few cents more per card. They are a limited production amount - more so than the unlimited prints globally.

I have taken over some old collections where cards were (no joke) snapped in half and glued back together. Its a shame because some of them are worth a pretty penny.

The original 151 Pokémon was by far the best time for Pokémon.
I looked at the 800+ Pokémon recently and was so disappointed. The ‘new’ Pokémon seemed rushed, they just look like real animals and the names are unimaginative

The silver border cards are made each year by pokemon for the winners of world's championships. The decks are released as a whole how they were built and played by the player in the tournament.
I got the $40 bag and got a tentacool Gma 9 and a 1st edition hitmonlee. But I will say when these first came out they had psa cards but then psa got back logged and now all I see is GMA.
At least you got cool graded cards. My graded card was a freaking reverse holo common Cubchoo from Darkness Ablaze smh

Iv gotten some GMA slabs in the past and one of them got chipped super bad during shipping and I dropped another one that ended up cracking too. The plastic just feels cheap but I do really like their new lables and they're definitely fair with their grades!
Ok I take back the fair grading after seeing that first Raichu 😂 maybe they've gotten better since changing their lables but that's just bad lol
You are doing a service by doing it anonymously because if they knew it was you they would stack the box to get sales. I’ve been thinking about doing mystery boxes with all my duplicate vintage stuff still not sure though it’s hard for me to part with any of my collection lol

I’ve bought from them before same box. And I did not get the free evolving skies pack and those cards in the sleeves. I only got the un sleeved cards and a graded card
Someone found a creative way to dump their $5 GMA slabs LOL
Today I got 3 evolving skies packs and from one I pulled a Jolteon VMAX (20$) and another had gyarados VMAX (6$)and the final one had Dracozolt V (2$) the packs were 5$ each. I definitely made my money back! 3 for 3! They were all full arts!

how much does it cost to grade a card? it would be kinda interesting to see how easily profitable it would be for a small trading card store to grade random freshly pulled singles and sell them in a mystery thing. (maybe the card store would open packs from previous sets that they have extra stock of instead of putting them on clearance or something?) it's mostly to see what it would be realistic for a character i made up to price stuff at. i think he would likely opt for psa and becket since those are the main two.
Depends on who does the grading! PSA/BGS right now are $200-$600/card but CGC is like $15/card
