They said ' it would ', hinting that it was their opinion, not something that they wanted. If I made an idea for this song, I would say that it's an opinion somewhere, but most people can tell that something is an opinion. Example: (This is simply this person's opinion, NOT an idea!) I feel like they should've added a short animation of Grey not wanting to harm anyone else, knowing he's been forced to practically his entire life at this point.
This song got remade again and i can see a change in the vocals and instrumental, the instrumental seems more intense and the vocals for gray seems more insane.

It makes me think that Black tried to "give a hand" to Grey, that's why you can hear the "sabotage alarm" ringing out in that part, since Gray is still a crewmate and can't sabotage

I'm pretty sure it's meant to symbolize when he turns into more homicidal. Whenever black is around is usually when he gets this eye, and is usually when he is more violent.
