I went to this show.I won tickets from the radio station on my lunch hour.Yes cell phones existed back then.This was a great show.The girl I was living with at the time was dressed to the nines.She was the one who got away.Smoking hot.Way it go's.I am glad for this video.
I saw him, Astro, and Mickey live just three months ago and he sounded great. Keep in mind this was from almost 20 years ago. No tradeoff seeing him live.... this just is not his best.
His voice was a bit rough but when you experience live shows that is the trade off sometimes. They could be coming off a big tour with fatigue. I thought he was great while performing "The Train is Coming Baby". He was very passionate throughout the song.
He was very drunk that night lol. His voice sounded rough in the late 90s due to his drinking, drugging and yelling at people all the time. Notice around 2001 his voice came back full strength because by then he'd started to sober up
Ali was already fighting his addictions from around 1996 and it took him two years to stop with his drugging ,the first show he play clean was in august 1998 ,but he never stopt smoking weed still do ,it took him two years to stop with Coke ,and more years to stop drinking beer ,and know and then, he back then got overboard with Wine ,but he was not on heavy drugs her ,i Think it to must weed and wine ,or his voice is tired after touring ,
