The wether was great! Had some rainy days, but it was still warm. And the water had perfect temperature;)
It really depends on how much you are going to travel around, what type of hotels you choose and how much activities/ party you are going to do.
I spent around 1500€ for 3 weeks, but i lived quite good;)

We started in Patong, Phuket (which sucked) >Phipih>Ton Sai Beach>Ao Nang>Koh Tao>Koh Phangan> Koh Samui>Khao lak and then back to Phuket where we flew home from.
This time I will start on Koh Samui and then go to Krabi and around there + PhiPhi. After that I will go to Bangkok, Koh Chang and Laos. And then back to Koh Samui and maybe Koh Tao and Koh Phangan.
Actually, just basic settings on both Gopro and iphone.
I filmed in 720p 50frames/sec on Gopro and 1080p 25f/s on iphone. Cheers!
I had it set for 720p 60fps all the time pretty much!
allright, there's allways a risk travelling with expensive equipment but in my opinion it's worth it! travel save bro

Well, actually I have the same problem, since I'm going back in january. And this time with more expensive equipment.
Last time they had some safetyboxes in the hotelrooms, but that was often on the more expensive hotels... Otherwise you might be able to lock them in, or hide them in the reception of the hotel, in case you trust the personal there;)

Hey guys great vid!! Looks like an amazing trip you've had. One question, I'll do backpacking soon but with a lot of expensive camera stuff. How safe is my equipment there? Like when I'll go for surfing or swimming. I mean are there any places (like bars or so) where I can leave my stuff for a couple hours? Thanks for reply!
You're right, we are all swedes;) Oh awesome! I wish that i would have had time for the north aswell, but I was only there for 3 weeks so we didn't have enough time. Maybe next time haha!

where you guys from? you sound swedish, i met a bunch of awesome swedish people when i was in thailand january/february, travelled for 5 weeks and managed to get the north of thailand in aswell!
