I got my golden puppy when I was 10 and the breeder family she came from was so awesome and kind and my experience as a little girl choosing my puppy was magical. I still have her now, 14 years later, and she is the BEST dog ever. Her temperament is so sweet and she is so patient and loving. I love how much you can tell you genuinely enjoy and care about these dogs and all of the little things you do for them to make them all around great puppies. Keep it up!

We are very curious. My daughter rescued a “lab mix” from the shelter. She’s the sweetest most affectionate dog I’ve ever had. It was her and her brother, my daughter wished she had gotten both. Anyway this pup grew like a giant weed over night. I couldn’t take it, I had her DNA done and she’s 7/8 Mastiff and 1/8 Lab. Her back, legs and knees are just a mess. Poor girl is in so much discomfort. We had one side operated on but didn’t see much, if any improvement so we opted to not do the other side. I can’t understand if the breeder got rid of them because they were mixed or if he knew they were “broken”. Either way I wouldn’t trade her for the world but would have liked to know the reason they were at the shelter. Such a sad sight.

If you have a stud stud fees usually are priced based off of, if the male is up to breed standards, is OFA good or better, has won championship titles, In protection or service work, temperament, and bloodline. Now if you have a female you have to pay for the stud fees, and travel. For both end for both dogs will have to be health tested and tested by the vet to see her ovulation period when she is the most fertile. You can choose natural or insemination, which a lot of breeders are doing now to prevent harm to both male and female while they are stuck together. Puppies when they are born you need a pup kit to ensure the health of the puppies during the delivery period. You have to understand some puppies won't live after the 2 week period so be prepared for heart break at the beginning. The less amount of puppies = less profit depending on the breed, their titles, and their size. Me personally I am learning under the wing of german shephard breeders, since I am breeding german shephards to become family dogs and soon along the lines service and protection dogs.
My stud male alone mostly cost around almost $300-$900 a month at times due to many variables that can happen. A litter of puppies could be anywhere between $300-$1.5k a month due to other variables that can decrease or increase puppy needs. The mother can be between $400-1.2k a month due to new bedding for her and her pups, consistently going to the vet every week, health testing for her and the pups. Akc or ukc registration, the proper genetic paperwork, medical records etc. NEVER ever breed a puppy with a color, physical, muscular, or bone deficit. It could be detrimental to the other lines of dogs that puppy will have offspring with and possibly intertwine with other natural dm cleared animals.

In your case, more a labor of of love and compassion versus a business just moving puppies. It is definitely just as hard or harder than raising regular children. We have a medium size female golden doodle that has the same coat that is a mixture of black and white. Aren't they referred to as a merle? Anyway, she is the sweetest and most affectionate thing ever. Also, tends to be a bit sensitive and I swear she is almost human. She also has two brothers, an Old English Sheepdog and a miniature Italian Greyhound. Plus, four cats and two big exotic birds. One big happy nutty family that all get along great.

The mess they make with the soft puppy food is insane- I fostered a pup from four weeks old to six months. He’d stick his head in there put his paws in and then get mad that food was on his paws. We had to rinse him off every time he ate.

We are in the process of seeing a vet dermatologist, didn't know they existed!, because of reoccurring ear infections and itchy paws etc. They thought a food allergy as well but anxious and curious about what derm says!

That's a good idea with the pre ground up puppy food, I'm going to have to try that. I like to give mine a nice sunday dinner when we are, I brown some ground turkey meat and eggs for them mixed with their food.

Stella and chewy is an amazing brand Purina not so much, if one of your dog is allergic chicken it may also have allergies to flax and white rice which Purina has I would recommend doing an allergy which is the best way to know.
Have you tried those infant explorer things that hang down? It’s like a cube structure that looks like it’s made w/ PVC pipe with plastic toys hanging down? They can walk under them, pull them, etc.
Hey I got some facts for you So purina I don’t recommend for your dog! It has many fillers in there foods and it’s not very good! But I love that you care for your dogs! The brands a recommend is Blue Go! Those are two but there is more! :) but if u wanna stay with the fillers that’s fine to! The reason I’m saying this is cause corn,wheat, and more can be causing problems with the dogs and you don’t even see it! The best diet you could do is raw! It’s expensive but it’s the best!
Yes I work full time as well- we do not breed for profit, we do it because we love it! A lot of times with feed, supplies, vet bills, etc you’re lucky to break even!
We just got a new 5 month old puppy who’s afraid of everything. Is it too late to do these exposure activities? Or do you have any tips for helping him?
Our goal isn’t to pee paid train or train puppies to go inside to potty on a pee pad or litter box- the goal is to start potty training and use the pellets as a scent they are familiar with to go potty! We send home our puppies with a bag of the litter to spread in the puppies potty area so they associate the smell with going potty!
After watching this I tried giving my godlendoodle a raw rgg in her breakfast because she is picky about her food and hasn't been eating as much as she should be. She loved it! (We used cage free, organic eggs) and she didn't like the shell so 🤷 oh well lol she did however have diarrhea on the carpet in our living room the next day so now I think we are gonna pass on the raw egg thing. Any tips? Did your doodles always eat like this or did it take a minute to adjust? My doodle is 4 by the way.
Wait, if (Jaeger? Jagger?) is allergic to the chicken and rice formula of Purina Pro Plan, why is he (she?) getting a raw chicken egg? I'm assuming it's egg, but that's larger than a quail egg so I just figured. Maybe it is something in their chicken compound? Or does he (she) have a reaction to poached chicken (boiled/slow cooked with just water and no seasoning) I'm just curious, I breed Brittanys so learning from others experiences will help me keep my dogs and their pups safe! People definitely have definitely jacked up the prices just because they can & a lot of times those breeders are just greedy! Ours do not cost that much and we put a ton of time and work into our puppies!

Hi Yolanda! I would recommend putting your puppy close by to your bedroom! You will have to get up once or twice in the night to let the puppy out! Also keep puppy close by when you are home to make sure they do not get into anything harmful etc!

To bad that a lot of doodle new puppy owners are not told what or how to care for their coat cuz it becomes a grooming nightmare quickly. And so many doodles are hyper not like the breed of a golden. And it is sad that these dogs can be expensive when they are a mixed breed.
We include a full breakdown of how to properly care for a doodle coat in our puppy packets for our families and make sure they are aware that they need grooming every 6-8 weeks and daily grooming! Also, many dogs are overpriced, but we price our dogs based on the amount of time and work we put into them.

Yes I work full time as well- we do not breed for profit, we do it because we love it! A lot of times with feed, supplies, vet bills, etc you’re lucky to break even!

Calcium. Farm eggs are best. Store bought eggs are bleached so it’s best not to give those.
Oh and humans can eat the shells too I’ve ground them up before and put it on top of our salad. The kids weren’t a fan. So we don’t do it.😀

Can I ask why litter train?? what’s the difference between that and puppy pad training? And how do new owners feel about it?
Our goal isn’t to pee paid train or train puppies to go inside to potty on a pee pad or litter box- the goal is to start potty training and use the pellets as a scent they are familiar with to go potty! We send home our puppies with a bag of the litter to spread in the puppies potty area so they associate the smell with going potty!

After watching this I tried giving my godlendoodle a raw rgg in her breakfast because she is picky about her food and hasn't been eating as much as she should be. She loved it! (We used cage free, organic eggs) and she didn't like the shell so 🤷 oh well lol she did however have diarrhea on the carpet in our living room the next day so now I think we are gonna pass on the raw egg thing. Any tips? Did your doodles always eat like this or did it take a minute to adjust? My doodle is 4 by the way.

Wait, if (Jaeger? Jagger?) is allergic to the chicken and rice formula of Purina Pro Plan, why is he (she?) getting a raw chicken egg? I'm assuming it's egg, but that's larger than a quail egg so I just figured.
Maybe it is something in their chicken compound? Or does he (she) have a reaction to poached chicken (boiled/slow cooked with just water and no seasoning)

I want a doodle so bad my roommate in MN got hers for 1500 and here in NC after moving in been looking and they rage from 3000 to 4000 it makes so so shook seeing the price difference between the states
People definitely have definitely jacked up the prices just because they can & a lot of times those breeders are just greedy! Ours do not cost that much and we put a ton of time and work into our puppies!

Hi Yolanda! I would recommend putting your puppy close by to your bedroom! You will have to get up once or twice in the night to let the puppy out! Also keep puppy close by when you are home to make sure they do not get into anything harmful etc!

To bad that a lot of doodle new puppy owners are not told what or how to care for their coat cuz it becomes a grooming nightmare quickly. And so many doodles are hyper not like the breed of a golden. And it is sad that these dogs can be expensive when they are a mixed breed.
We include a full breakdown of how to properly care for a doodle coat in our puppy packets for our families and make sure they are aware that they need grooming every 6-8 weeks and daily grooming! Also, many dogs are overpriced, but we price our dogs based on the amount of time and work we put into them.
