Recently installed the JCW pro carbon fibre/alcantara gear knob and handbrake. Really easy to install and they feel brilliant, really sets off the interior. Also did the JCW pro steering wheel which I love but a word of warning was a pain in the arse to install. The airbag is a nightmare to remove but its well worth it! All are sold by lohen I believe.
Hey Ben completely unrelated to this video but one of the few things that I dislike about my 2019 Mini Cooper S is it there is no lights in the backseat, apparently in previous generations there was a dome light between the dual-pane sunroof but the f56 doesn't come with one? Have you seen any mods about potentially adding one?
It's not carbon fibre though, else it would be black. It's glassfibre I believe, which is why ifs light colour inside. They look awesome though; not taking anything away from it. I've got the red R56 start/atop button cover
The A/M button? As far as I’m aware it’s automatic air recirculation, if set to A it’s automatic so the car monitors the air outside so dependant on the pollutants and temperature the car decides what’s best. If set to M which means manual it means that the car will circulate air inside the vehicle. If you press it a third time it turns it off meaning it will always pull air in from the outside no matter the air condition
@@BenRolfe No not that Ben, the very small circular button above the start/stop but between the heated rear screen and A/M button, I push mine but can't see anything happening.

They are both things I'd love to add, slowly moving to the interior modifications now.
Where did you buy them from?
Like your videos, I got a F57, keep going 👍
I love the carbon cover!
Thank
Hey Ben do you know can I aftermarket install the ambient lighting / lights on the interior? …mine never had them …but would love them in my Mini
Cheers buddy great video 😊🌈
Thanks Andrew! 😁
@@BenRolfe No worries Ben its a great Channel mate well done buddy 😊🌈Andrew
Does the dechrome ring affect the airbag? Last thing you’d want is to be impaled by it when the bag goes off
Shouldn’t do, the centre where the logo is the part that comes away.
@@BenRolfe ah fairs. Was kinda worried, that’s all mate

An ITG panel filter will be next!

You should try a suede stitched car steering wheel cover! I ordered mine and I they actually look nice any thoughts on this mod?
Something I’d definitely look into!
hey ben, does your car has agency pops? i also have a cooper s manual but the same as you i dont have driving modes
What's the little button directly above the red start/stop for?

Ahh, I see. I think it’s a thermometer or sensor of some sort
@@BenRolfe I see, thanks.
Can confirm that it's a internal temperature sensor for the automatic climate control. It's in lot's of BMWs'.
Any spark plug upgrades?
Not just yet, whenever I get a remap I’d possibly look then
