I think the best way to secure our society is to involve every one...communities must work with security organs of the state to combat crime...interventions at various levels must aim at equiping stake holders the necessary tools to do the job, starting with an effective communication system. Once an alarm is made at one point, every body is alerted . Security organs shouldn't work in isolation...a police post isn't enough to secure a whole community. Let's make communication channels available to every community of some scale to avoid delays when a problem arises. Thanks general, good observations.
