If you're talking about the cylinders that you grease, then no, mine didn't have problems. But it looked like it was made to where the whole cylinder assembly can come out, if you wanted to take it to a hydraulic shop.
It sounds to me like you didn't do a lot of research or spec your need very well. Take four weeks loss of income into account and you could have gone to CAT.
Well when komatsu dealer presses tub grinder rotor for free you give them a chance at business. They had the serial number how much more spec you need? I was on schedule at Yancey Bros last fall and no one ever put eyes on it to see what it needed, so just imagine how long to actually get repair done. so they're all the same, long time. Local John Deere is the worst. Hell in December i had to put same part order in three times at local cat dealer to get the dam parts to show up
This 943 likely has a d4 undercarriage as it's a cat d4 sized machine. Like the 939 and d3 or d5 and 953.
