    Your picture is misleading..it says peripheral arterial disease(PAD) & you're talking about peripheral vascular disease(PVD). Make it make sense.

    • @MedicalCentric
      @MedicalCentric  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @EssenceofGod5657 You're right to point out the distinction! Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD) refers specifically to blockages in the arteries, while Peripheral Vascular Disease (PVD) is a broader term that includes both arteries and veins. The two are often confused, but it’s important to be clear about the terminology. Thanks for catching that-accuracy matters, and your feedback is valuable!

    Which type specialist should one see to look into this..i am thinking cardiologist but i could be wrong

    • @MedicalCentric
      @MedicalCentric  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @ericagrneyez1839 If you’re referring to issues related to Kegel exercises or pelvic floor problems, the specialist to consult would usually be a urologist (for men), a gynecologist (for women), or a pelvic floor therapist. If your concern is related to heart health, then a cardiologist would be the right choice, but for pelvic muscle or bladder-related issues, urologists or gynecologists are more appropriate. It's always a good idea to get a referral from your primary doctor to the correct specialist.

    My legs hurt 😫

    • @MedicalCentric
      @MedicalCentric  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @sweetiepie4328 I'm sorry to hear that your legs are hurting! Leg pain can stem from various issues, such as muscle strain, cramps, poor circulation, or even overexertion. It might help to rest, elevate your legs, and apply heat or ice depending on the cause. Staying hydrated and doing gentle stretches can also relieve discomfort. If the pain persists or worsens, it's important to consult a healthcare professional for a proper diagnosis and treatment. Take care of yourself!
