The idea of having primitive tech on just building something not saying a word the whole time would be so fucking funny
Those channels exist and are insanely popular with millions of views on every video..
Eskimos and Inuits are 2 different people. I worked with an Eskimo when I was in Alaska and he had no problem with the name. He would get a bit peeved if you called him an Inuit though. I watch Primitive Technology. Steve is a stealth camper and does some really fun vids.
Nobody cares
Yeah Eskimo's are still a thing. As a Scottish, German, Irish, Native American, Eskimo not sure who is telling you it's bad to say but they are wrong. Eskimo is perfectly fine. And I'm also fine with being called Indian. Rather annoyed when people start spouting off about indigenous rocks bunch of racists.
Also, great you mentioned Summoning Salt. He is a gamer / speed running historian and many of his videos run long but does such a great job explaining how difficult every world record achievement can be.
And the guy's a Mike Tyson Punch Out World Record holder himself. Been waiting for him to talk about that for quite a while now, and a few months back he dropped a video about where that World Record is at.
He's such a positive and supportive guy and comes at each video with a very well documented narrative. 👍
Luke from the Outdoor Boys is awesome. I watch it with my 5 year old all the time.
You can put closed captions on primitive technology and it explains what he’s doing
I did not expect to see soup and Ethan on this pod lmfaooooo
If you watch Primitive Technology put on CC because he uses them to describe what he's doing as he does them. Total game changer for his videos!
4:14 Those are imitators from SE Asia that wouldn't exist if it wasn't for the Primative Technology channel. Those videos are fun, but BS. PT videos are legit. If you start from the beginning, you really get to see how one technology leads to another. He's done a lot in his little part of Queensland Australia. He has surpassed the technology of Aboriginals just using things off the land. It's because he has knowledge (internet and books) of these things. Some of the stuff he comes up with might never have been done historically, but he's using only things sourced from nature, and it works! The only modern thing he uses is a pair of shorts.
Are we sure that these guys aren't just Ronnie Van Zant's grandkids?
I love the primitive tech guy eli was talking about is so much more relaxing and cool to me because we live in the same area and the bush sounds are actually real to me
Luxon Bushcraft. TA Outdoors.
I would love to see Les Stroud from survivorship and wild harvest on the podcast. For real.
Absolutely
Steve Wallace is a good dude, for a Canadian.
All the love in the world
Check out key west waterman.
I haven’t seen the Primitive Technology videos for a long time but he use to have a script if you turned the closed captions on
Outdoor Boys is a great family friendly channel, been hooked for a few years now.
outdoor boys goated
I watch Outdoor Boys too.
