It looks so much nicer with a brushed finish on the casing, I don't get why so many manufacturers insist on highly polished finishes, they just look like crap when scratched up and it in general just looks a bit blingy and tacky.
Different folk, different strokes. I get you that some folks just want to WEAR their watches and bushed finish just helps it go that extra mile for toughness
May I ask Which 6085 is 240 grit , E3 or E4 Also Artifex hard rubber wheel there are a few , I just bought a speedmaster triple date and want to polisg the case . The stick you used wat was that grit . I know its alit to ask Thank you for the video , was very well done , i may but some of the jooltool see through pads but shevwants 85 for a 4 in disc
Hi ! First of all amazing work you did on this watch ! I have a question : how to easily remove light scratches from the mirror sides of the case ? Can I use Cape Cod polishing cloths ? Does this suits to that type of surface ? Many thanks for your answer
Excellent video. Have you ever brushed the handles? It would be interesting to see how this is done and more in this type of watches that have a circular and non-parallel brushing. Greetings
I do them freehand with bergeon hard graining wheel. Make sure you remove the bezel ring. For a perfect finish you need holding lapping clamps and a lapping disc. $$$$$
I struggle when i polish brushed surfaces on my machine, if i go too light i dont get the finish i want but too hard and the brushed look is gone. Do you use any other things to ”keep” the brushed finish brushed?
Excellent bro! The end result is stunning. 👍
Thanks bro!
Nice work 👍

Could you list off the types of wheels you’re using? Thanks!
Hi, updated the video description with the list of wheels that I commonly use. Hope it helps!
@@awatchdiary Thank you so much!
@@awatchdiary Hi, may I ask you what grain do you use for the "Bergeon Silicon Carbide graining wheel (Soft)" Nr. 5 from your video description?! :)

The correct finishing mop is important. What do you use?
nice job
Thanks so much
Great job, brother! Could you please tell me the name of the disc you used for brushing? Thank you.
Hi, it’s in the video description
cool! thank you
Do you use your ultrasonic for final clean? What about the case?
Yes final cleaning is a must. Do remember to dry the case well in a dryer too.
What rpm are you running?
Depends on the type of wheel. I use 1.8K rpm for the final mop
I've always used a basic polishing cloth for watches. Interesting.
Cannot stand highly polished steel…. “Pimp look” is not my style…
