An Imperial Guardsman, a Space Marine, and an Inquisitor walk into a bar. The Guardsman says "ow." The Marine breaks right through the bar with his reinforced skull. The Inquisitor accuses the bar of heresy. When the bar refuses to confess or even move despite sustained torture, the Inquisitor executes the Guardsman for failing to defeat the bar in combat.
I love that Guiliman has ultra depression, and because of the psychic backlash any chapter with ultramarine geneseed are also slowly getting ultra depression. In the grim darkness of the future, we all cope, seethe, mald. 😕
You wake up from a coma after 10000 years. You are immediately attacked by a horde of chaos marines. Then immediately have to go through the warp where you are captured only to be freed by some seemingly random marine. You then fight your estranged brother on the moon. You then run into dad who treats you like a lost wrench and is more or less a monster. You find out then that everything you fought for is now a giant mass of awful and stands for everything you hate and fought against. I would have ultra depression too

@@kaiyne316 Blood Angels are the legion of Sanguinious. i think its unclear so far about the blood ravens origins and their Primarch , but i was under the impression there was suspicions they were originated from a traitor legion during the horus heresy, the remnants of those that didnt turned traitor, probably a thousand sons given the higher number of librarians they create after gene seed implantation. So the implication being Magnus the red be their Primarch. The theory suggests that during the Horus heresy, he sent a several number of his legion away from prospero, before the space wolves arrive in attempt to save them.
Even a Primark would be hard pressed to tell a story with such Power and Gravitas you truly are a paragon and master of the spoken word. Thank you Baldermort.

Never played the tabletop, discovered warhammer through Henry caville & his obsession. I am slowly navigating the lore and what a fucking awesome journey it has been.
Same here kinda, never played tabletop but saw a trailer for warhammer 1 (fantasy game) and ended up becoming deeply invested in that lore and game, which led to trying to figure out what this “warhammer 40k” thing was ‘that was named after the game I play’ now I’m buying models and slowing building a tyranid army and listening to audiobooks everyday

The great amout of sadness, shock, anger, and despair of Guilliman at the state of the imperium is just chilling. They did very well in humanizing him, even better when he dragged himself out of it.

I'm 35 years old and had no idea what warhammer was/is and I happened to come across this channel and I just have to say wow! I cannot get enough now! The lore is so deep! I think this is the best fictional universe thats ever existed and I'm so glad I am able to get lost in it! I still can't understand why GW didn't just made these books widely available. Either the Gathering Storm series or the Arks of Omen series just can't be bough by most people. And it makes absolutely no sense at all, being such pivotal for lore developments. GW is pretty much denying the fanbase the chance to read about how Cadia fell, the galaxy was split in halve, what Abaddon has been doing, the potential 5th Chaos god appearing or how two Primarchs have returned to the Imperium.
What always boggles my mind is how (relatively) low you subscriber count is, content of this quality and passion deserves have a larger audience, your content has pulled me deeper down the lore and history of 40k and I have recently started the hourus heresy because of this and my desire to learn more, thanks for all that you have put out and I can't wait for the next video

I recently started watching 40k lore on TH-cam and this is by far the most engaged I've been. Absolutely excellent narration. I find myself creating incredible images in my mind only to have them become reenforced and expanded upon by the wonderful illustrations that accompany the narration. This is why TH-cam was created so we could enjoy masterpieces of art like this. Thank you for your hard work.
This is so well done, and i cant image the work that went in to making it. People think it took 4 hours and 44 minutes. The reality is that those 4:44 is just how long it took to read the material, and actually probably took longer than that with re takes and bloopers. It wouldn't surprise me if this took more than 12 hours to make
You aren't wrong. But the time frames are even worse. Editing sound is 3 x the duration for pros. Then there is the music, the images, the etc etc.... I know its not rocket science, but it does take one heck of a lot of time. :)

I remember reading this book the first time - moment when Roboute was resurrected, I was sure that he was going to be a husk of his former self. But after reading the line that the shrine is suddenly filled with pressure of his Primarch aura, I immediately thought that it was not the case. I also always find it funny that seconds after his resurrection, he already knew what has happened and was already pissed off by it xD

For a long time, I waited for the video for the last part of the gathering storm trilogy. I almost lost hope, I thoguht that our humble servant might have forever put focus on other, might endevours. The great amout of sadness, shock, anger, and despair of Guilliman at the state of the imperium is just chilling. They did very well in humanizing him, even better when he dragged himself out of it.

I'm 35 years old and had no idea what warhammer was/is and I happened to come across this channel and I just have to say wow! I cannot get enough now!
The lore is so deep! I think this is the best fictional universe thats ever existed and I'm so glad I am able to get lost in it!
I want to try my hand at building and painting the models its just a bummer they're so expensive..... but hey maybe someday right!

I still can't understand why GW didn't just made these books widely available.
Either the Gathering Storm series or the Arks of Omen series just can't be bough by most people. And it makes absolutely no sense at all, being such pivotal for lore developments. GW is pretty much denying the fanbase the chance to read about how Cadia fell, the galaxy was split in halve, what Abaddon has been doing, the potential 5th Chaos god appearing or how two Primarchs have returned to the Imperium.

I recently started watching 40k lore on TH-cam and this is by far the most engaged I've been. Absolutely excellent narration. I find myself creating incredible images in my mind only to have them become reenforced and expanded upon by the wonderful illustrations that accompany the narration. This is why TH-cam was created so we could enjoy masterpieces of art like this. Thank you for your hard work.

This is so well done, and i cant image the work that went in to making it. People think it took 4 hours and 44 minutes. The reality is that those 4:44 is just how long it took to read the material, and actually probably took longer than that with re takes and bloopers. It wouldn't surprise me if this took more than 12 hours to make
You aren't wrong. But the time frames are even worse. Editing sound is 3 x the duration for pros. Then there is the music, the images, the etc etc.... I know its not rocket science, but it does take one heck of a lot of time. :)

I remember reading this book the first time - moment when Roboute was resurrected, I was sure that he was going to be a husk of his former self. But after reading the line that the shrine is suddenly filled with pressure of his Primarch aura, I immediately thought that it was not the case. I also always find it funny that seconds after his resurrection, he already knew what has happened and was already pissed off by it xD
These videos keep me in the loop when I can't keep up with the books. Plus, they are great to listen too while you're painting!

Theres no way a single man can be this dedicated and produce such extended quality content. This has to be AI...WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH BALDERMORT?
