Joy, thank you for this video. It was a pleasure to watch (and YES! it was helpful and inspiring). I am just curiousthough. What was it that was driving your decisions on your settings? Because I noticed you were using different ISOs and f-Stops and apertures.
You're really pretty Vanessa, also extremely talented but you should get in front of the camera occasionally as well! Beautiful bridal parties too, wow
How would you incorporate a BRIDESMAN I have a maid of honor and three other bridesmaids. This friend has been friends with me forever and yes he’s male but, he’s my best friend so we don’t really want him with the groomsmen. I’m just curious as to how you take the BRIDESMAN with the bridesmaids photos?
i'm a beginner not surprise that i'm watching this but some photos get me really confuse. i see that u shoot bridesmaids details like flowers with : 1/2000 , 1.8 , ISO 320? WHY? what i learn is that non moving object don't need to be shoot at fast SS, also is best to keep ISO low as possible in that case easy ISO 100? AM I RIGHT OR WRONG?
You're definitely right - lower ISO is better and I could've popped down a bit lower on that shot. Why didn't I? Probably because I was quickly moving my exposure from shooting in a darker location and I just didn't keep going down on my ISO - and 320 was totally fine at 320. That being said - those were my second shooter's exposures - not mine :) Also - NO AUTO ISO EVER
I don´t think many people realize just how great this video really is, this is pure gold for us wedding photographers
The flow of how you photograph the bride and bridesmaids is really helpful. Thanks for another of your easy to follow videos.
so happy to hear it!

with profoto flash A1 .. more great works .thank you
Few of the images are shot wide open at F1.2. Wouldn't a 70-200 F2.8 do the job?
How is called in English this side bag on a belt? I like it a lot, may I have a link to purchase, please?
what presets did you use? loved the edit
So the lower iso is what helps to blur the background so that only the bride is in focus?
Nice techniques, ill it use! 😊😊

It might have been a mistake or she shoots on auto ISO and needed 1/2000 on the shot just before that one.

Can you send me the preset?!
Tuka Altekrety what preset?
vanessa is hot
I can see how this shoot was challenging.
Dumb choice of color for bridesmaids dresses, and why’s one in black?
Black is slimming.
