Thx guys for the video. It took me some times to watch it because I had some stuff going on. 😊

Great overview on the different options, union on a Korua is still my go to even though I have to carry some extra toe clips in my parts bag. Korua’s skin mounting system is amazing, I can slap the skins before heading out, and have one less thing to get ready when preparing to start out the journey. Would love to see a backpack breakdown, what to carry for different scenarios (slack, overnight, day trip, etc.)

A lot of the cardiffs as well as a the nitro spits and the Korua Escalator have a notch in the tip between the halves, according to Korua's video on the escalator this is to avoid the tip catching while going up. Is this a significant advantage?

I ride Burton ions and separated the front of the sole off one boot after riding in hitch-hikers for 10 days. I’ve glued them and they have been fine probably put another 40 days on my solid board. Now I have a new pair of ions and I’m pretty nervous about riding them with the hitch-hikers. Go union or get some 32 splitboard specific boots? Thanks, Chris.

@@chrisbohm4305 we do have a big following of riders using the jones Tm 2 Boot / One of the top 3 for splitboarding so yes , if you can , get those !

What do you guys recommend between the explorers and chargers? This is my first season with a split. 167 XV split.

@@Riders_Lounge Thanks for replying. Should I buy a union expedition quiver disc? Or does the included hardware have one? I want to throw the chargers on my other boards, but also leaning towards picking up a pair of Force or Atlas. I was told the chargers and explorers aren't nearly as good as regular bindings for solid riding. My 2015 unions are wrecked
      edit: just ordered the Chargers!!
Gonna make it down to whitewater for a few days this season. Pretty stoked

what up boys, I am having a big problem picking a board. I'm between 3 k2's. Antidote, Passport, and Alchemist. All different boards I know. Antidote seems like its stiffer and better off jumps than the passport. The alchemist seems like a stiffer passport and still insane on jumps and powder. The passport seems like the jack of all trades, but I cant pick. Any suggestions?

@@jiblyjably Hmmm , tough call ! Let us also suggest the Jones Hover 2.0 ( good option when looking at alchemist) Watch a clip of Garett Warnick Riding it ! Also consider the Capita Black Snowboard Of Death … its seriously one of the too all time , all terrain boards !

@@Riders_Lounge sadly jones boards are made in a country well known to use slave labor. Capita boards are sick though and made in Austria

As anyone else had the problem with Union pucks binding against each other at high binding angle (+20 and more on the front leg) and making it hard to seperate and bond the split on transition?

just my opinon but have seen the Karakorums have issues, too many moving parts and ice up and fall apart. unions dont do great with big days effeciency wise and durability (inserts for the toe pins) and just plasticy. sparks for life between the three you have here. simple and durable. karakorum risers are too clunky and chunky, overhang some boards!. spark flip and rip forward lean is the best by far, upgrade your burtons or nitros to it if you can. ymmv

Yeah, I don't get the Burton bindings. Looks like they just took the Spark binding and put a worse high-back on there. Just get real Sparks instead.
