It's a pronged issue imo. I will give props for the look. That is a current look. That is what they need to do because the idea is to attract people who currently spend money on the comics and shows and such. Not some obscure cancelled series from back in 2010 like they have been doing. And their artists are always good outside of recycling things. So I am going to assume they are allocating a lot of time for whatever Spooky Season thing they have planned. Probably add this zombie mode thing. Regardless what's up is we got the scheduled stuff. Gold spending bonus, Dice game (ugh) and World Boss Event. Else? This. Crapapocalypse here. That's it. First the level of power in other media doesn't matter. This is a game. ALL assets are to be useful and that use is supposed to be to win by way of offering new tools to make new strategies with. Else why expect anyone to spend money of the asset? To just "have it"? Keep in mind you can only slot so many characters in a given play day and only play as just so many of them so many times here. So much you can count this on your fingers. So the rest of the roster just sits in your inventory and that is the rest that have been deemed useless. Just as any items do. Again it is a game and the other objective is it's fun. As a streaming DLC based game this means consistently. Not two months from now. It's means you wake to an update and go "Wow! This is awesome and I am very excited to play this!" And you can play it because they made it accessible for you to play regardless of how. Most game devs learn all this in school. Someone on their team takes care of this part. You can look to say Star Wars Galaxy Of Heroes, a sister game in Future Fight's division for an example. Well...where is that here? What do you get? You get a plate full of boiled cabbage with five kidney beans in a ramekin and if you question it you get snubbed and told not to complain about the fact that your belly hurts. And they say "Well it's for whales"? In that case this should matter even more. You're paying hard earned cash for this stuff and some cases it is a lot of money, more than most of you and I can even budget. You are paying money for a product and again getting this sort of response about it. "Here is something you won't be able to use. It's boring, you'll hate it and you'll eager to move on from it. Thanks for your money." I don't get it. My own background in game development, marketing and sales is less than the production team of this game. I did not get an offer to be put up in Korea and a contract like they did. So I know they know better yet? And the elephant in the room is keeping players and bringing in new ones against the tide of other licensed games. That includes the incoming Rivals game if not games on other platforms. All while they announced they will not be moving to the next platform, OS, as their competitors are doing. What it looks like to me is they are cashing out or their licensed contract is not going to be renewed. Like they pushed for the 10th Anniversary and that's about it. Because why else would people work a job for an hourly wage and put out something as lackluster as this? It sucks and I don't know what to say other than don't bother demanding buffs. You should have noticed they either blow you off (they already have your money so wouldn't they?) or announced they fixed it but when you check it's not the fix anyone demanded. Else like the recent uniforms I still suggest if you are convinced you must have it then be patient and wait until Black Friday. It will be here faster than you think and you do not want to end up with buyers remorse then. Otherwise play a different game. There is nothing wrong with that nor voting with your dollar. You do not owe Netmarble anything. They owe you.
