Thank you so much for posting this. Your video and one other online guide have been my main builder's manuals for building my pdr. I'm just curious, it's been a number of years since the build. Did you find the PL200 held up as a sealant or would you consider fiberglassing the seams a better option?
The ‘bulkheads’ are the vertical ‘walls’ surrounding the buoyancy tank. You would fill the buoyancy tank with foam or air. The bulkheads are made of plywood. jus’ sayin’.
That is a great boat.... but love you and your kids more..... working together as a great teem.... they will cherish that time with a great father...
Actually a lot of work for such a simple boat. But worth it, the sense of accomplishment, can' t buy that, can't smoke that either.
Great job on your boat thanks for sharing

It looks great. How long it took in total working hours?
Excellent presentation.Does the rudder tend to float up without a counterweight? Are you bulkheads filled with foam or air? Thanks.

too many for my wife to accept ;) I would say 5 full days all going well
I like the colour scheme! Out of interest what did you use for the lateen spa’s?
I suspect he is using a Folbot sail and spars. In which case the spars are aluminium tubes.
neither, just adhesive caulking PL200 is brand
