Skiing Mt Sopris (12,965')

This spring Sam Mcdermott, Anders Klinkenberg, and I headed out early and completed a childhood aspiration.
This is a short documentary about our over dramaticized trip up Colorado's Mount Sopris. The mission was one of the first big mountain ski missions I've done and I plan on coming back to CO to do more like this soon.

You absolutely lost me when the "Chucking rocks off the summit" scene happened. Look up "Climbers (skiers) killed by little children throwing rocks off mountains." Don't matter the angle, its dangerous. Wow. And you posted that!

The ascent route is not where they were throwing rocks. It’s about a quarter mile to the right

That and they were obviously way late with how slushed that snow was holy crap they got out lucky
