So I just came across these Maxxis Liberty's by chance (and after reading a couple reviews) and put a set on my RZR. These replaced a set of Tensor Regulators and I got to say, what she says about the tires floating in the sand, I 100% agree with.....these stay on top and a was super noticeable improvement compared to those Tensors that seemed to want to dive to the bottom of any sand I found myself in. They respond well in rock and loose terrain as well. I can't offer a review in mud as I avoid it like the plague!! I liked those Tensors...I like the Liberty more.... Oh...... am I the only one to notice how beautiful this articulate and capable woman is??
Hello Corry I'm torn between 28" or 29" Im Running a packard SC @ 5psi, no plans to change the gearing.. What is the weight of these tires? Do they run true to size? BTW..Your YXZ looks great.
These are actually the lightest in their class - 29's are probably around 30-32 lbs depending on what size wheel you are running. If you have long travel, I would go with the 29's....if you have standard a-arms I would run the 28" tire to keep your center of gravity from being too tall. And thank you!!
Hello Dan, that was with our Weller/RPM 6psi turbo kit. Yes, going up in tire size can affect how the bottom end feels with stock gearing, but they make the Liberty in a 28" tire which is pretty cool. I would run that with no worries with stock gearing.
Corry Weller thank you Corey I have a pipe tune and I'll Alba spacer is there any other engine performance mods Weller is making for the yxz I'm trying to stay away from the turbo because I don't want to put new Rods in?

Thanks for the thoughtful review and feedback! We're stoked to hear how well they're working out for you!
Never mind the tires...those YXZ’s are bad ass!
I love this car!

Corry Weller Thank you.
what is the size you're running there?
This was a 29" Liberty.....
Corry Weller is that with stock gearing?
Corry Weller I just heard that taller tires really kill the power on the yxz

are you running these tires in desert racing?
Yes, I love these for BITD, Local races, desert, etc.....excellent for all types of terrain!
Where'd you film this at?
This was at Johnson Valley, CA.....
Does any one know what size rim size and offset there running ? Thx
We apologize for the delay. Please reach out about this at powersports@maxxis.com instead. Thanks!
Is this car running a slipper clutch, like a recluse?
No, just the stock clutch setup on a 2016 manual......
Thanks for chiming in, Corry!
lol a desert tire floating on sand. Nice commentary.
песок ровнее, чем каменистая дорога
you left out the terrain that the rest of the country has to deal with. mud.
