Since it's a dye-based ink (not pigment), it will be blotchy at first and will even out beautifully as it dries. If the stamp pad is new and "juicy" don't press too hard or coat the stamp too thickly. Also, for new "sticky" stamps, it is recommended that you rub it pretty roughly with the palm of your hand or your fingers before the first time you stamp with it. I love The Stamp Market! Thanks for sampling the colors and stamps! ❤
It would be easier to clean the Stamos if you use a stamp scrubber. Nuvo, stamping up and other companies make them. One side you wet the other dries it.
I love to stamp! I'm a Stampinup Demonstrator. I signed up so I can get the discount. They do make a really good shammy to clean your stamps. Just an FYI the red ink stains the stamps. It doesn't hurt them but they will end up a pinkish color. Stamping is addictive! Great video!
Thanks,, Deanna. I rub a new stamp on the palm of my hand to condition them before the first use. Fun to try out your new goodies. Appreciate your taping your experimenting for us! Thanks a bunch! Happy stamping! From Cheryl in AZ
Deanna, I love stamping and have learned a lot along the way. I have the bigger Misti. A little tip you will get more even ink on your stamp if the lid is flat on your table surface instead of your hand. You being newish to stamping I think you did pretty darn well demonstrating. I like the sweet birthday wishes stamp. Happy stamping Deanna!
You are doing great. I would recommend a stamp shammy for cleaning your stamps after use. Great for the stamps and best for the environment. Saves you money too! Stamp your heart out and have fun!
I also was curious about how well the inks performed so thank you for sharing. I have read thru the comments so I didnt reapeat the same tip that other gave you. One tip was to place a book under the STAMP lid. A DVD case will support the lid also. As far as cleaning the stamp goes I keep a paper plate at hand so when I finish using the stamp I lay it on the plate & take the stamps to the sink & rinse them under warm water & lay them on a nonlit towel to dry.
Look up seasoning your stamps. Stamp on a scrap piece of paper about 10 times when you have a brand new stamp to condition it. It might help. Sometimes acrylic stamps have a bit of a film on them. When that gets off they work better
I just love anything to do with stamping! I will sit and stamp out sentiments and keep them in a little folio for future use. I'm all about having things pre-made to save time. Love your colored inks. But I use mostly black for sentiments. It just depends on what I'm making. Thanks for the cool demo! Hugs 🩷 Suzy
Deanna I would love to win this dye. The stamp is very clear and the inks are very beautiful. I love that you continue to add new ideas and then teach us what you learn. Thank you…you are my favorite teacher. ❤️
We can never get bored of the weather here in North Texas because it changes at the drop of a dime! LOL. I had my students ready to walk outside for recess today and we quickly turned around to have indoor recess because it was so windy and cold! :) Thank you for sharing your first impression of the inks and stamps I love the Stamp Market because they have great quality stamps and dies. I have a few of their inks, but haven't used them in a while,. But you've inspired me to get them out!. For basic black ink my go to are Brutus Monroe's Raven Detail Ink and Memento Tuxedo Black. I like various brands of color ink such as Stamp Market and Simon Says Stamp.TFS Stay warm!
When I get a new stamp set I use a glue eraser on them first before I stamp. Most often there is something on them from the factory when they are new. Maybe you could try that and it may help with the sticking to the paper. I like them and the ink colors you got.
Love the stamp and ink demo ❤ the colors are beautiful ❤️ have you ever tried " Priming or Conditioning" your new stamps? I see lots of people doing it. The main one is to rub your hand all over the stamp. Before you ink it up. They say it keeps it from being so blotchy the 1st few times you use it. Just a suggestion, I haven't stamped much but I'm getting into it more so I been watching A Lot of videos on it ❤❤❤😊
I was always told not to use a baby Wipe on my stamp because it might leave fibers on the stamp.. So that might help if you lay the back of your misty down on a set of books and when you're stamping , that might help the stamp pad. I love Each time you stamped, I think they look beautiful. But you know, stamps have to get absorbed and use more often, and they come out just perfect. So every time you use it, it'll be easier. I think with the stamp pad and the stamp itself. I loved it.
I love the sweet birthday wishes stamp. Too bad the w didn’t stamp out well and the t had an issue as well. I think it’s a cute sentiment though. Can’t wait for your future stamp videos 😊Mercy
These are pretty cool stamps, I have 4 birthdays in March 12, 17, 24, and 28 yikes lol as bad as Aug 4 then and December 4 then also but guess this happen when you have 5 children and 11 grandchildren lol loving how the inks stamp really pretty colors. Them baby wipes have alcohol in them and they will dry out and change the color of your stamps, I went to the dollar store and got a spray bottle and I keep water in it, and I use my old washcloth ms to clean them off and it don’t dry out your stamps it also take less time to clean them, while they are still on the platform spritz and wipe with the washcloth, done you can even go to Walmart and get a bundle of their cheap bundles of 20 washcloths for 5$ and you have a endless supply of them and you can toss them in with your dark laundry to wash and dry them like any laundry, may become stained after so much time but to be expected. Thanks for the stamping demo btw I get mine from either hobby lobby or Michaels from the cheap seats. lol I’ve only had problems with one, I got gold and silver at the same time on the first of January, and I just opened them a couple days ago for a project I did, silver was great, gold was dry as a bone, I got that one I believe from hobby lobby. 🤷♀️ didn’t spend much so that’s good. On that hope I stamped enough. 🤣🤣 Tfs ❤😊
Loved watch you use your ink and stamp! It would probably work better if you let the lid of your misti lay flat on the table instead of holding it up with your hand when applying the ink. TFS
Hi Deanna! Those stamps look amazing... Can't wait till you use them on a card! TfS! I am originally from Houston Texas, so I am a Texas gal living a retired life in Florida! Hugs! Gloria
Keeping your paper orcardstock in the corner of your misti is the best way to make sure it stamps in same place everytime. Also new stamps need to be conditioned. They have a residue on them from manufacturing. Rub your fingers on them to rub it off.
I have a dear friend who loves Stamp Market and often buys when they have amazing sales. I came to say rub your stamps with your fingers before stamping, but a few others have already commented that. I don’t overly clean my stamps, either paper towel with water or a baby wipe.
If you will rub a microfiber cloth over your new stamps before you use them for the first time, it removes that sticky part and it helps with the solid ink application as well! Stamping Up and the other stamp companies recommend this step before the first use!
I love seeing new products and I really enjoy hearing your thoughtful review! While dies are my fav, the stamps you got were really great, love the font!
These stamps are cool. Could. You do a beginner stamping video please? This is something I would like to try but dont know the things that are needed to get started.
I lay my paper on top of the felt and I purchased an extra magnet (sold separately). I place the 2 magnets above and on the side of the where I will be stamping the paper. It works great.
Thank you for this. I was wondering how you liked this brand of inks. Before you use the clear stamp you can take a glue eraser and rub it a bit on the stamp. It seems to make the stamps less sticky. Love that cherry color❤
Most of the time you put it down in the corner so you know exactly where to put it if you need to stamp again. A good stamp usually does lift your paper-that’s why you always pt it in corner so in exact same spot.
I like to make sure I condition my new stamps first by rubbing them with my palm or an eraser. The stamps don’t stamp out to splotchy if I do this. By the way, you enabled me to place an order today 😂
Love the wide font of those stamps! Love your videos too 😊 I found you not too long ago and have been binge watching your videos…lol 😂 How sweet of you to do this STAMP giveaway, would love to win!
I just started using the Ink Pad inks from Hobby Lobby because they emboss with an embossing dryer. I think they might be discontinuing them unfortunately. I can't believe how crisp your stamps turned out.

I use a car shammy to clean my stamps. It doesn’t leave any wipe threads behind. Love all what you got 👍🏼💕
Love watching you stamp! I love The Stamp Market, excellent quality stamping supplies❤❤❤

I love the sweet birthday wishes stamp. Too bad the w didn’t stamp out well and the t had an issue as well. I think it’s a cute sentiment though. Can’t wait for your future stamp videos 😊Mercy
