I use to think my parents were so strict. Because I couldn’t spend the night over anyone’s home. My very first sleepover, I was High School Senior.

I'm so glad someone has started a channel to discuss these hidden wicked deeds. We as parents must understand what we need to be trying to protect our children from, and what the righteous men amongst us must stand up against and stop the destructive evil against our people(black people).

I have a 26 year old daughter & from the age of 2/3 I told her not to let Anyone touch her inappropriately & I told her about predators. She had to sleep on the floor , as a child for such a long time…no wonder she was so excited to get out of her toxic house hold (from what she described), and have her own room!
Her “god parents” could have actually really saved this young girl. Too bad he took advantage of her stay. What a shameful adult…the weirdest people are attracted to seeming to be the holiest…smh

Thank you for sharing your story. I was also molested but it started when I was a toddler and too young to understand it was wrong. After that I was like a target. It continued until he died of cancer when I was 13. You were and are so brave. I wish I had your strength. I feel like I lost any strength that I might have had to the man who molested me.

How brave you are. I too am a victim and I know how hard it is dealing for flashbacks, and trying to building healthy relationships with male family members. I can't imagine how it would be if my own pastor had done such things. You are Loved
I am a survivor as well that's why I say she's not healed you never stop having flashbacks nightmare never it's a never-ending battle like an addiction

As mothers, stop letting your children go to people homes to spend the night or go with them and keep an eye on them at all time. Trust know one that much. Watch out for your family, stangers is not the only one that molest children. Fathers, brothers, sisters, uncle, auntie, grandparents, and the list goes on. I believe that the pastor wife knew what was going on, and when you told your mom, the first time, she didn't want to hear it and deal with it. I glad you have recovered from the hurt and pain.
This message is good for parents who care. This child had a mother who allowed her to sleep on the floor for half her life and then put her outside at night for being "disobedient."

I think what they're trying to say is that the other victim was unconscious during the abuse, possibly drugged by him, so they aren't able to testify against him.

What am amazing resilient young lady. It’s so hard knowing how the adults children should be able to trust the most in life can betray that position of authority and trust and hurt children on the deepest level so easily. As a mother to two amazing young children, I can’t imagine hearing something like this coming out of my child’s mouth and not listening and taking action immediately before anything else. Because I’m aware of what people are capable of and I was also sexually abused as a child, I am so so diligent about making sure my children are NEVER in a situation where they are alone with adults outside our very immediate family. They are never alone with coaches, teachers, friend’s parents, family friends or even uncles of mine ever. It is so important that we as parents are constantly aware of our children’s safety and surroundings. We can absolutely guard them against the outside world in a healthy way while also ensuring that they are able to grow and maintain an appropriate level of independence as children. I truly believe that A child greatest defense again predators are their parents. Talk to your kids, ask too many questions, know your child’s worries and praise their strengths and accomplishments so that develop the confidence they need to speak up and run from compromising situations that Destinee was often in. Make sure your babies know they can come to you with ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING and they can trust you to listen, comfort them, give them advice, take action, and stand by their side whenever they need you all while loving them conditionally every step of the way! So happy Destinee has a family of her own that she can empower to be amazing adults while breaking the chain of abuse and help to put an end to the shame that comes with being a child victim. such a strong and beautiful young woman. i’m so sorry for your pain but so happy to see that it turned to passion. i live in the area you spoke about in the video and have previous experiences ( not consensual as well ) i’m terrified that it is the same pastor because he is also in prison currently smh the world is so small and it’s horrendous how some people with power take advantage of the trust the receive due to those positions.

Her story is heartbreaking. If I were her I wouldn’t speak to my family at all. Especially her mother. I was shocked her mom even pressed charges because of how neglectful she was.

My story definitely mirrors your story. I was the black sheep made to take care of all of my younger siblings all of the time. Adults introduced me too things Sexual things when I was a little child …I guess you can say I was being groomed. It was always close family members who molested me. They molested me a lot in for at least five or six years straight. These were people that I looked up to and I trusted them very very close to me it was not neighbors are a stranger it was family members who did things to me. And then when I got older like 18 I was dating this guy whose father was a pastor and I went to him and I shared with him a lot about my life and how I had been molested from the age of 4 to 9 or 10 years old & He the pastor asked me if I enjoyed it, I was shocked, and he said did you feel good to you tell me exactly how did they put their tongue between you know where I was so shocked and he would unzip his pants to show me his private part when I was left alone with him what kind a pastor does that😢
A man that is only a pastor “in name”… and since he is a predator and not authentic… he will end up where all the lying, abusive leaders go… Matthew 7:15-23

Every time I see and/or hear anything like this, I see my wife or my daughters. If I could have protected you from being harmed by "it", I would have, but I can not be everywhere all at once.
