Rongpei seems cool. Shes bold and practical and relatable admist all these rich people. I like that Ruyi sees these as good qualities. 😊
She is my favorite character lol she only gets better as the series goes on.
How in the world can they walk in those shoes? Its like having a square stuck to the middle of the shoe! No wonder they need help walking everywhere.
I've tried it. Once. Well. One full ~day~, but hey, it wasn't a week like a few friends had to suffer thru.. Ever see a 6'2 klutz of woman try to teeter on those things? I'm told it was hilarious to watch, I believe I was compared to a giraffe mid birth at one point. And not the mother side of the coin. Full on head splat like twice and we won't talk about the state of my kneecaps. It was a gig, thought I was taking a female guard role until, nope, for some ungodly reason they decided "stick that elaborate hairpiece on her and make the giantess attempt to mince." They are brutal. That said? The whole having 2 fingernails so long they need shields horrifies me more. Not only can't you run in the shoes, with the nails, now even just brushing your hair becomes hard. You essentially become a walking talking doll for whoever is dressing you. Thank god I only had to wear press-ons. The clothes were pretty, but I was actually relieved when the next gig was as a temp mascot. Honestly preferred a 50lb cage of wool and wire with minimal vision and muffled hearing to attempting that look again. You know it's bad when, with the options 'fancy pretty dress lady who just has to sit and smile' OR sweltering heat while dressed as a 7'5 tall chipmunk? I'll take the chipmunk every time. They WERE pretty though.
If you know anything about Chinese music 🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶 then you know that they had their own sound; as well as culture and you will just have to live with it....
