Hands down the best Ever Crisis content on TH-cam, your channel is great!
Even though he didn't know this until someone else made a video about it and then he cooed the idea
I learned this after a couple days when I finally got Aeriths umbrella weapon. I noticed that if I used Barrets Mind break and then used Aeriths nightbloom it would not increase past Mid. I then tried using Nightbloom and then the limit break and it went to High. I also figured out that the timer for debuffs stops when you break an opponent so timing the debuffs with that can also help extend the time and increase your damage output.
Wow I had no idea about this. Crazy that setting isn’t on by default. Definitely going to start leveling up some of those weapons you showed in the charts. Thanks!
13:37 (yes, really) : Figures Matt would have the Guitar Axe.
Hadn't seen that in the game before and I blanked on whose weapon it could be, but it all makes sense now.
Awesome guide thank you so much 🎉🎉
Awesome videos always look forward for the next with great insight and passion for the Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis community. 12:09 Tifa's Kaiser Knuckles 13:31 Tifa's Tiger Fangs ;p
I've watched a few videos for FF7 EC and this is the only one that mentioned the settings, thanks that was a huge help.
Glad I could help out, it's weird it's not just turned on.
Learnt soo much from you, great work thank you! ^-^
I used to watch you for all my Union X needs, glad you're making regular content again
Holy... I was thinking my Umbrella was bugged since I never saw the arrows and it was a [mid] debuff.
Best Ever Crisis TH-camr. I learn a lot about this game from you man. Thank's!
the max and mid potency refers to the red and blue diamond on the rigth side of the screen, when its glows it means max pot and the debuff extend for 6 sec in the iron blade, sorry for my bvad english but im spanish
This was so helpful!!
Thank you octo for teaching the secretes of the debuffs
I straight up re-rolled bc your content is so awesome and taught me so much. Excited for more :) thank you!
I'm Happy it's helping out! Good luck on your pulls.
Nice! I figured this out by myself, because for some weird reason when I tried Ever crisis on my PC by using MUMU X emulator, this setting was ON by default, while on my Iphone it was OFF as default. Anyways Best Sephiroth Build next!?
This setting makes red 13 even more S+ tier and that buff/debuff enhanced ability he has on that platinum collar this will be a game changer because FF has always been a game about lowering resistances in harder content. Also ty for showing red 13 again because so many people hate on him and I’m like bro do y’all not know how strong his debuffs and buffs are sheesh FF7 fab here
In the beginning, you were pointing out Aerith's MDEF down stat on Nightbloom, not the PDEF which is the only debuff that worked against the dragon 🙃
You are one of the best CC in this game keep up the good work!
Thought I messed up by leveling multiple debuff weapons, but it seems I have set myself up for success!
Smelly I have a question is about red XIII. When you multi ultimate the clock counts when you do the ultimate right? So is better to ulti red the last so the debuf ends later. Is this correct?
If you do breach then hardedge does it just do extend or does it give the hardedge timer instead?
You need to make a vid discussing all the terminology, keywords, concepts, etc. There's still a lot I don't know, and that the games doesn't exactly explain.
The secret rival to buffy the vampire slayer: The Debuffy the vampire.
“Debuffy the Vampire,” better known as Vincent Valentine
Thanks for this ! Really great, wasn't aware about the timing thing being connected to the first debuff and not resetting
I ll ask you live probably but do we know how much 1 lv of debuff represent in terms of % down?
Also didn't know that tiger claws were aerith weapon 😂 probably secret top tier one for DPS Aerith
Keep the good stuff
Lol top secret!
It's 10% 20% 35% according to meowdatabase.
@@SmellyOctopus thanks!!
So the main takeaway here is that stronger debuffs increase the stack of an existing debuff inflicted initially of a weaker one up to its given highest limit. However, the stronger debuff cannot extend the duration but only by the specific debuff inflicted first. Got it
Another great video. I think I'll check out your discord sometime.
Very helpfull video!
Weird either I turned it on n didn’t realize it or it was on for me 😂
So now my question is will the automatic battle system follow your lead when it comes to debuffs?
I'm just good enough to control a single player in manual mode.... Going to take some time to get used to switching back and forth between characters.
Also, along those same lines I wish there was a setting where you could passively control what the AI does. Like if you want the characters you're not controlling to be more aggressive or more defensive.
There was a game back in the day that had that option but I just can't remember what it is.
Yes the AI will continue to max out the buff before timer stops unless certain situation happens like if need to heal multiple times or break. After that they will debuff again as needed.
Took me forever to realize i had to change the settings to turn this on and see the tiers (yes its in the video i know lol)
Why is this even a setting to begin with? At least not the default!? 😒
I didn't know there was stacking lol. Thanks!
Any time!
@@SmellyOctopus Your discord is great too :D
Not leveling hard-edge is crazy to me lol
@9:13 It says it's immune to darkness. That could be another status ailment, but it'd also be cool if darkness was an element in the game.
Its a status ailment. They seemed to have decided to not use the word 'Blindness'.
Hello, quick question : if you start with thunder breach and then apply Red 13 debuff does it go only to mid or does it go all the way to high ?
If it's cast first then it'll go to high.
@@SmellyOctopus Is it the most effective way in term of atb to stack it asap then ?
At 2:52 did uh...did you say what I think you said? 😅
I found this day one i always go through all settings on any new game i play . Yeah really don’t get why this isn’t on as default pretty dumb lol
took me too long to understand how buff's work back in KHUx
I hope the add slow and haste sometime soon. Holly would be nice as well. Lol
Thanks for the videos there helping a lot. Lol you should do a video of which summon will be next. I'd say leviathan.
For a lot of Mobile games, buffs and debuffs are king. But they never describe how these systems work. =/ It's always left for the players to figure out. This is extra annoying. Because solo console RPG's, buffs usually aren't as massive of thing. They're useful. but you seldom rely on them.
Champions of the Continent for example - Buffs/Debuffs cap at 30% potency. And you usually need 2 characters to hit those.
Final Fantasy Record Keeper - All buffs that aren't the same exact, stack. I.E. If you have a Attack / Magic buff, and a ATk/Mag/Def buff, they stack. But if you have 2 sources that are Atk/Mag they won't.
If you're used to dealing with the systems. It's usually not that hard to figure out, but if you're not? Yeesh.
That being said, I hate that bosses are immune unless they're weak to the element =/ That's a stupid gimmick. It'd be much more f2p friendly if you could work around what you have instead.
A wild haired Octo has appeared, choose your pokeball
Better than nothing, I guess. But I would prefer to be able to read the actual numbers behind this "High" is very different from "30%".
Where are the data miners? We need those damage formulas too!
According to meowdb, the debuff tiers are 10%(low), 20%(mid), and 35%(high)
Yeah I wish they would just give out the actual %. DFFOO also does the same thing and we rely on dataminers for actual potency.
duration of buff/debuff sucks a lot, not refreshing it, just extending it
Don't act like you knew this. Hope you credited the person you learned it from
Yea I'll credit my past self. Go watch my streams on twitch since everything I do is there including explaining it everyday for anyone that asks. If you look at day 2 of the game being released my stream shows I have this feature on 3 weeks ago.
omg, its crazy that the game doesnt show you that by default, it shouldnt even be an option, it should just always be on without an option to turn it off.
usually an option like that is to make the game more simple for beginners so they dont get overwhelmed by too many details, but cmon, its just arrows on a debuff icon, its just dumb to hide this.
your buff is small.
your debuff is small.
there isnt legend. Cant listen and understand english
Wat
@@nekotorin he means subtitles
@@nekotorinHe probably meant “there are no subtitles, I can’t understand spoken english”. Pretty common to people that doesn’t have english as their first language, subtitles help a lot.
@helderquimica I assume you speak portuguese so here it goes: resumindo, ele está explicando o sistema de debuffs do jogo.
isnt this setting turned on by default?
Its actually turned off by default for some reason.
