I love the MAXPEDITION BAGS, but thr HAZARD 4 haves the a great gearslinger bags. I wanted to buy the khaki HAZARD 4'S ROCKET 17, but looking at the video is it dark khaki? I have seen it on the their website which is very bright and is that the it comes?
Great video! I was wondering what the difference was between the older one and the '17 model. I dig the hard shell on the top admin pouch- it would be nice for keeping glasses or sunglasses from getting crushed. One of the best features is the side pockets! I also like to carry a pair of Nalgenes while hiking. The Rocket looks like it would be a great day-pack/survival kit for hiking and camping.
I'll be looking forward to a review once you've used it for a while. I'm curious how much weight you can carry in it before the single strap starts to hurt. My Maxpedition Kodiak is a great bag but it's really too big for one strap; if I load it up to where it's close to full it's murder on my shoulder.

Rob Babcock that’s exactly what I use the hard case for. My sunglasses and a TQ. Really happy with bag .

How does it do with being fully packed? Does it wear out your shoulder or back from it being only a sling pack?
gumbi8989 I wouldn’t recommend for a heavy load for extended period of time . If you want to go Heavy I would go with a standard double strap pack.
Does the sidepocket can hold a 1 Liter nalgene bottle?
