Peacock and peachick alarm call on seeing a leopard in Jhalana, Jaipur, Rajasthan

As we entered Jhalana, a unique forest in the beautiful city of Jaipur, we were instantly alerted by the alarm calls of this peahen and very alert peachick . Both mother and chick had sighted the leopard stealthily moving in the forest, and gave us an idea on where to look for it. What ensued was a most amazing sighting wherein there was a face-off between a hyena and leopard for a kill, in which the hyena won the morning.
